American Baptist Churches USA We are an American Baptist church serving the Hubbard Community for more than 205 years.

We support world and national mission programs through the World Mission and America For Christ offerings each year. We support our local mission program Heart Reach Neighborhood Ministries with mattresses, furniture and clothing. The Hubbard Community Food Bank has been housed with us since 1983. Our Diaper Depot is an ongoing monthly program to help any families with little ones in our school di

strict regardless of income. Each year more than 90 boxes are filled with needed school supplies and hygiene items for Operation Christmas Child. Our Philippian Fund provides assist for community members with utilties and other expenses.

Last Sunday we have a wonderful service of Thanksgiving. We dedicated 113 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We celebrated the addition of our new Music Director Monica Baker. Twenty gift cards and 82 Cool Whips were sent to Heart Reach Neighborhood Ministries. And we had special music provided by Ashley Nord. Next Sunday to begin our Advent season with a visit from the Inn Keeper. If you are without a church home this Advent season stop in at 10:15am on Sunday. We will be glad to see you!

Today we honor all Veterans for their service and dedication to our country. This past Sunday we honored our own members with a gift and a sincere Thank You. We also honored our own Rosie the Riviter Miriam Hopkins who also celebrated her 102nd birthday.

Don't forget to wear your favorite team shirt this Sunday, Oct 12 for Team Spirit Sunday. Pastor Luke's sermon will be titled "The Team Spirit" based on Hebrews 12:1-15. Because we all know that whatever team we root for here that we all strive "to run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.” Heb 12:1-2 Join us at 10:15am on Sunday.
