It has been almost a year since we started renovation and yes we are still having church service in the basement. I do not expect the sanctuary to be fully restored until late spring/early summer. This has been a huge undertaking, and I don’t see us having Easter service inside the sanctuary unless we “rush” the job and at this point, I really see no sense in doing that.
Remember, God has seen fit to give us a brand-new building, inside and out and I do not want to get in His way. New electric is installed now, the new walls are up and the ceiling is now finished, but there is still much to be done. Some things that remain is paint, flooring, carpet, trim, light fixtures, and outside siding just to name a few.
I understand everyone is anxious for the finished project to come to fruition but just remember this, the contractors are not from this zip-code, and they are doing their best to make Living Waters Community as beautiful as possible. But also remember, prayer is the key that unlocks doors. I am so thankful to the Lord for what He has allowed and would love to have you be a part of this great endeavor. Let’s fill this place and worship Him..!!!
