Just kidding, we love Rustin! He would be parking normally, but we just had our parking lots sprayed with another hardening top coat, and have limited parking until it all dries!

If you're coming down for our Women's Bible Study tonight, you will see we have the affected parking lots roped off. Please park carefully and considerately tonight!

Our Brighton Youth Ministries group will meet at Howe Town Park due to the limited parking spaces! 6pm-8:30pm! Dinner provided, bring money for ice cream, and be ready for a whole lot of fun!

Unbelievable! Brighton Chapel has been around for 138 years of our country’s 250 years as a nation! Thankful for God’s hand on our church family over the years!

Tidbit Tuesday 6-2-2026

We have to believe that the word of God is flawless. It is flawless and perfect... it is fail-proof. And that's why Satan is attacking God's word and deceiving people with teachings that the Bible is not fully real…. and is written by men not the Spirit of God...and that there are some missing and secret books (many of which contradict God's word).

Satan knows God's word is the sword of the Spirit and the final authority that will judge men on judgment day.

He knows if he gets you to disbelieve God's word or never read it... YOU WILL SIN AGAINST GOD and he can accuse you and access your life to deceive you even more. Then you will be condemned on judgement day.

John 12:48 says...There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day.

Please value God's word. Eat it daily like candy. It is food for your spirit.

Remember what Jesus said, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4.

Psalm 119:11 says...I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.

Lord, thank you for giving me time to open your Word and discover You. Thank you that you don’t leave us in the dark about who you are.
But I need wisdom as I read your Word. You promise us in James 1:5 that we only have to ask for wisdom to receive it.
So Lord please give me wisdom as I read your word. Help me discern the truth of what I read. Help me not rely on my own understanding. Thank you God for the clarity, encouragement and hope your Word brings.

Crazy how a small group of people in 1888 started a church in the country that would make a big difference in Lagrange County for Jesus Christ! Things have changed a lot since then!

Tidbit Tuesday 5-26-2026

I believe one of God’s greatest miracles is not healing diseases, growing new limbs, or providing material needs. It is God taking morally corrupt wicked sinners and recreating them ... transforming them giving them a new heart, a new spirit, and a new nature. This is the greatest, most mind-blowing miracle of all. I can testify because I am living proof.

“‘Then it will be as though I had sprinkled clean water on you, for you will be clean—your filthiness will be washed away, your idol worship gone. 26 And I will give you a new heart—I will give you new and right desires—and put a new spirit within you. I will take out your stony hearts of sin and give you new hearts of love.” Ezekiel 36:25-26

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17
