Tidbit Tuesday 6-23-2026

Love and truth work together in God. There is no love in the Bible that is mentioned without truth. This is because God is love but also the ultimate truth.

To water down Bible scriptures on God's standards in the name of...love...is not love at all (it’s hate). Because that kind of "love" is not concerned for the person's eternal soul but is made up through self-deception.

An all inclusive Worldly love is dangerous because it leads to your separation from God. God can never compromise His standards for any of us, because He would then cease to be perfect.

His attributes all work together in perfect harmony. God's love, truth, holiness, justice, and grace cannot be separated from each other. God is holy and so he hates sin. God is just and so he must punish sin. God is love and so he provided a sacrifice for our sin.

God demonstrated this ULTIMATE love in the death of His Son Jesus who died for our sins.Therefore anyone who says... God is wicked because he won't accept our sins or our rebellion ...is exactly why humans need salvation.

"Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth." 1 Corinthians 13:6

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. Please help me to understand that Your love is perfect and pure. Just as light cannot accept darkness...Your holiness cannot accept sin. Give me the grace to see sin as You see it. Teach me to hate the sin that harms my soul. In Jesus name, Amen.

If you are planning on going to to family/church camp this year, you will need officially sign up this Sunday and pay for your spot. If you miss the deadline, you can always call in a reserve a spot, but it won't be in the same area as the group since they work on a first come first served basis. See Sarah Hill on Sunday or message her if you have any questions!

Tidbit Tuesday 6-16-2026

God's destiny for us (after being born-again) is to grow up in Christ...to be like Him and reflect His nature and image. That's God's perfect will for us. His desire is not for us to be like other human beings or to set our sights on being better than the guys around us. It is to be like Jesus...the perfect God-man.

But it is only possible IF we fully surrender to the Holy Spirit who is or help mate on this journey. The Holy Spirit teaches us how to understand God’s Word and helps us with the ability to follow it.
We cannot be like Christ without absolute surrender.

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." 2 Peter 3:18

"But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." Romans 13:14

"So Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does." John 5:19

Jesus doing as God does….us doing as Jesus does…..

Lord help me to fix my eyes on the love You share with me every day. And may I be reminded of the grace and mercy You extended through Your son as I go through my life. May I look to Your love as a guide to love others. Amen

This sign is not only a sign but a beacon of hope. Why? Because this sign is connected to the Cooper’s home and stays on with their generator when all power is out. When it’s dark, this sign is lit up brighter and brings hope to those who see it! To those of you without power, we pray for restoration soon! And a grateful heart for those who served and still serving so diligently to get power on!

While we are grateful for all the people working so hard to get power back on for everyone, unfortunately our power is not on at the church and it doesn’t look favorable. So we will have to cancel worship service for June 14 and reschedule grad Sunday! Please share this!
