St. John's UCC Penntown Rev. Our worship time is informal and family friendly. Each year we participate in the Ripley County CROP Walk.

We seek to reach out to the community by housing the Sunman Area Food Pantry and hosting a Vacation Bible School program that is open to all children in the community. Children and adults alike gather for our Sunday school hour. Teens are i

nvolved in our Youth program and confirmation class. We have two women’s groups which meet monthly for fellowship, support and service. We are excited to gather in our new addition completed in 2003. Members of our congregation completed most of the work on the addition.

American Legion Memorial Day Cemetery Service will be Monday morning, Memorial Day at 8:15. Come about 10 minutes early as they occasionally run ahead of schedule. We are very appreciative that the local American Legions continue this tradition.

*There are over 45 Veterans buried at St. John’s.
