We are going to the The Gospel Barn Saturday.

Join us on Saturday, June 20 as we welcome High Road and Jim Worthing (Jim Worthing Music) back to The Gospel Barn in Hillsdale, Michigan. Concert begins at 6:00 pm...Doors open at 4:30 pm...Tickets available at the door for $8 and freewill offering...Children 12 & under are FREE...Concessions will be available, including our famous all beef hot dogs🌭🍿.

We had hoped to use the table Monty and Susan dropped off this week for Hot Dogs tonight but it is looking doubtful. The weather report looks pretty wet. I'll post again around 4:00 p.m. but at this point it looks like we'll cancel Tuesday Night Hot Dogs.

At this point it looks like we'll have to try the table out next week.

We are having a study on Prayer Monday mornings for the next six weeks. Ellen Stuckey used to do a summer study but is living in Florida now. Caroline has agreed to facilitate this summer.

This Saturday is our next The Gospel Barn trip. Bus will leave at 3:50 p.m. We have room for 5-6 additional riders. Please call the church and leave a message if you would like to ride. There is no charge for the ride. Admission to The Gospel Barn is $8.00 plus there will be an offering for the group.

Of course, Tuesday is our weekly free Hot Dog Night at 6:00 p.m.

You are invited to all of these activities this week.

We have power!

As I write this late Friday evening there is no power at the church. But we'll plan to worship Sunday with or without power as it is supposed to cool off a bit. Just know that if we do not have power there will be no water or restrooms available.

We'll be in John 10 Sunday talking about the Good Shepherd. We'll also look at Ezekiel 34:1-16 which talks about bad shepherds. The service will close as we recite Psalm 23 (KJV) and sing "The Lord is My Shepherd" in a round.

Pastor Dave will lead worship beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Since I don't have power please check the Frurip-May Funeral Home page tomorrow morning because if power hasn't been restored at the church we may be looking at a different location for the funeral.

Also, our generator has helped three homes today keep food cold or frozen. If your freezer needs some electricity please let us know.

Finally, the Lions Club Ice Cream Social at the park scheduled for Saturday has been postponed because there is no power in the park. It will be held at a later date, when we'll again help by supply the trays you carry your food on!

It may have been raining in Lagrange but the sun was shining in Howe this evening. Good to see folks again. Hope to see you next week.

Reason 4 Hope will visit Tuesday Hot Dog Night on July 21. Look forward to seeing them again.

We supported some missionaries from Howe through Student International a few years back.

Registration opens at 9:15 Wednesday!! Our offerings will all go to Ark Animal Sanctuary! Your child can bring Cat, Dog, food, cat litter, small blankets or $$!! All will go to the animals💕
