By His Grace, by Edith Nevis, Debut:

“Serving Hope, One Tray at a Time”

In a world that often moves too fast, kindness still finds a way to show up.

Tonight at By His Grace soup kitchen, Daniel and Marcus serve warm dinner trays with genuine smiles, while Alba looks on with quiet gratitude. What may seem like a simple meal becomes something much deeper — a reminder that hope is often served in the smallest acts of love.

This isn’t just about food.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about compassion.
It’s about community.

Because sometimes, hope really is served one tray at a time.

Through quiet conversations, flickering lamplight, and a restless young man searching for certainty, this story reminds us that light is not only something we see — it’s something we choose to carry.

Greetings,

For almost a year, I have been considering the creation of faith-based animated videos for my YouTube channel, By His Grace. I enlisted the help of my two brothers, who possess expertise in audio and animation, and they guided me on how to embark on this exciting journey independently. The experience has proven to be rewarding and, to be honest, a great deal of fun.

I plan to utilize the numerous religious columns I have authored over the years for my local newspaper as a foundation for new animated stories. You can find upcoming videos by visiting my YouTube channel By His Grace@NYgogirl1 and hit subscribe.

And now, without further ado, please click and enjoy my new animated video:

A must read that explains it all 🤗 regarding Israel!

An excellent article by Alister Heath, a British journalist for the Daily Telegraph:

There’s something about Israel that makes people uncomfortable, and it’s not what they say it is.

They’ll point to politics, settlements, borders, and wars. But scratch beneath the outrage, and you’ll find something deeper. A discomfort not with what Israel does, but with what Israel is.

A nation this small should not be this strong. Period.

Israel has no oil (they do now). No special natural resources (they do now). A population barely the size of a mid-sized American city (NJ). They are surrounded by enemies. Hated in the United Nations. Targeted by terror. Condemned by celebrities. Boycotted, slandered, and attacked.
And still, they thrive like there’s no tomorrow.
In military. In medicine. In security. In technology. In agriculture. In intelligence. In morality. In sheer, unbreakable will.

They turn desert into farmland.

They make water from air.

They intercept rockets in mid-air.

They rescue hostages under the nose of the world’s worst regimes.

They survive wars that were supposed to wipe them out, and win.

The world watches this and can’t make sense of it.
So they do what people do when they witness strength they can’t understand. They assume it must be cheating.

It must be American aid.

It must be foreign lobbying.

It must be oppression.

It must be theft.

It must be some dark trick that gave the Jews this kind of power. It must be blackmail. Because heaven forbid it’s something else.

Heaven forbid it’s real.

Heaven forbid it’s earned.

Or worse, destined.

The Jewish people were supposed to disappear a long, long time ago. That’s how the story of exiled, enslaved, hated minorities is supposed to end. But the Jews didn’t disappear. They actually came home, rebuilt their land, revived their language, and brought their dead back to life — in memory, in identity, and in strength.

That’s not normal.

It’s not political.

It’s biblical.

There’s no cheat code that explains how a group of people return to their homeland after 2,000 years.

There is no rational path from gas chambers to global influence.

And there is no historical precedent for surviving the Babylonians, the Romans, the Crusaders, the Inquisition, the pogroms, and the Holocaust, and still showing up to work on Monday in Tel Aviv.

Israel doesn’t make sense.

Unless you believe in something beyond the math.
This is what drives the world crazy. Because if Israel is real, if this improbable, ancient, hated nation is somehow still chosen, protected, and thriving, then maybe God isn’t a myth after all.

Maybe He’s still in the story.

Maybe history isn’t random.

Maybe evil doesn’t get the last word.

Maybe the Jews are not just a people… but a testimony.

That’s what they can’t stand. Because once you admit that Israel’s survival isn’t just impressive, but divine, everything changes. Your moral compass has to reset. Your assumptions about history, power, and justice collapse. You realize you’re not watching the end of an empire. You’re witnessing the beginning of something eternal.

So they deny it. They smear it. And rage against it.
Because it’s easier to call a miracle “cheating” than to face the possibility that God keeps His promises.

My dear cousin, DaQuarius Green, wrote something that I MUST share. I pray that the message will help bring clarity and wisdom to those who are unsure and need to refocus. Please feel free to share this post with others if led to do so.

SOME DOORS ARE CLOSED TO PUSH YOU TOWARDS YOUR DESTINY

Sometimes, life will shut a door in your face not to punish you, but to redirect you.

That job you didn’t get, the relationship that broke your heart, the opportunity that slipped through your fingers... they weren’t the end of your story. They were part of your redirection.

God doesn’t close doors to leave you stranded. He does it to move you to where your purpose will find you. You were never meant to settle for less. That disappointment? It was preparation. That delay? It was protection.

Stop crying over what didn’t work. Start preparing for what’s about to be birthed. The next chapter of your life will explain why the last one had to end.

You didn’t lose anything. You’re just being positioned for something greater.

Keep going. Stay faithful. Trust the process.

You’re not forgotten. You’re being built.

By His Grace: Blessed Invitation
By Edith Nevis

“And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”

It has been more than ten years since I experienced the "Dream" that transformed my approach to praying for others, enabling me to perceive individuals not through worldly perspectives and judgments, but through the eyes of Christ. This experience illuminated the significance of cultivating a genuine relationship with Christ. Most importantly, it highlighted how we, as followers of Yeshua, ought to treat one another. I would like to share this with you…

As I stood off to the side, I was acutely aware that my role was merely that of an observer. What was about to unfold before me could only be attributed to God, and I was to remain vigilant. The scene that was soon to transpire was never meant to instill fear, but rather to inspire hope. The hope I refer to is found solely in the one true living God, who is both merciful and just, and who wishes for all to attain salvation. Allow me to elaborate...

A clear blue sky heralded a splendid day. The immaculate beach seemed to stretch endlessly, filled with families of various ages and backgrounds. I found joy in watching many playfully engage on the beach and along the shore, while others chose to simply relax and bask in the sun. The cheerful sounds emanating from everyone indicated that all was well.

As I gazed out at the clear blue waters, I noticed in the distance what appeared to be rain clouds rapidly approaching. The lifeguards on duty observed the shift in the horizon and, as a precaution, sounded the alarm for everyone to return to shore and exit the water. However, those who had ventured further out were beyond earshot. As I observed the swiftly approaching clouds darkening the sky, I detected a change in the water's current. What had once been calm waters began to churn, making it increasingly difficult to swim back to shore safely. I watched as fear took hold of those on the beach, who were calling out to their loved ones to exit the water. I, too, felt a deep concern as the winds intensified and the rain began to fall. Those caught in the storm, unable to swim against the current, began to cry out for help, calling upon God. And then it occurred...

I began to perceive what I could only characterize as the sound of numerous helicopters, although it seemed impossible. The water was perilous, with the swimmers struggling to remain afloat. Suddenly, I felt compelled to look upward. As the swimmers cried out for assistance, what appeared to be angels descended from the sky, positioning themselves over each swimmer and lifting them from the water by their waists, then carrying them safely through the air to the beach.

Once each rescued individual was laid upon the sand, they curled into a fetal position and trembled. This scene continued until everyone was saved from the water. My attention was drawn to my right, where I immediately noticed a multitude of men dressed in white, who came to cover the many rescued individuals with white blankets. The beach suddenly resembled one vast white blanket. I was unable to move from the sight that was unfolding.

Then, from behind me, I heard a man's voice command, “STAND UP!”

At that moment, everyone who had been rescued stood up, wrapped in their blankets, and formed two lines like schoolchildren. The man then instructed, “FOLLOW ME!”

Instantly, everyone began walking in two lines toward a building that I knew was not situated behind me. As I turned to follow and see their destination, a man stepped in front of me and said, “You cannot go, stay here.” I remained where I was instructed until the last person turned the corner and entered the building. Immediately afterward, I found myself inside, though I was unaware of how I had arrived there. I discovered I was on the second floor of what appeared to be a luxury hotel, unlike anything I had ever seen before. I looked around and realized I was standing on a partially jutting balcony that overlooked the concierge desk below, allowing me to observe without being in the way. I slowly absorbed the beauty of my surroundings while anticipating what would happen next.

As I waited, a group of individuals began ascending the stairs to my left and instinctively positioned themselves in front of one of the five doors. In front of the first door stood a single person, while the next was occupied by an entire family, followed by a grandparent accompanied by a child, and so forth. As each person stood before their designated door, an individual would emerge, impeccably dressed as if attending a grand ceremony. Those who exited the door were welcomed with abundant affection and numerous hugs. They would then leave together down the stairs, and another group of individuals would approach a door. This scene continued to unfold until all had been reunited.

As I observed the faces of those coming out of the door, it dawned on me that they were the individuals who had been rescued earlier from the water at the beach. As the last family made their way down the stairs, I followed them with my gaze, pondering their destination. The moment I had that thought, I was instantly transported to the main floor, standing in front of the concierge desk.

At the concierge desk, three ladies and one gentleman were crafting the most exquisite and flawlessly designed floral bouquets I had ever seen. I instinctively understood that these flowers were intended for the event taking place in the ballroom, from which the reunited families had just entered. Everyone in the hotel appeared to be dressed as if attending a wedding.

I asked the ladies if I could assist with the arrangement of the floral bouquets. My offer was graciously declined. After a few moments, feeling dreadfully awkward and out of place, I inquired once more. This time, the gentleman responded, “No, you cannot help. You must prepare to go.”

Slightly disappointed, I quickly replied, “Where am I going?” especially since I was the only person in the lobby wearing beach attire and sandals. As soon as the words left my mouth, two large gentlemen, dressed in fine clothing, took hold of my arms on either side and turned me around to face a mirror that I knew was not situated behind me. The woman gazing back at me was truly stunning, elegantly dressed in a flowing blue gown that left me breathless. In that moment, I realized that my reflection represents how my Lord perceives me, both inside and out.

As I slowly came to realize that the events unfolding were of a supernatural nature, my two companions began to lead me toward the magnificent, floor-to-ceiling, intricately crafted French doors that swung outward. Laughter and joy filled the air, and I asked my es**rt who was in the ballroom, but they simply smiled without giving an answer.

I quickly observed a radiant light emanating from the door frame, and I mused that no artificial light could possibly shine with such brilliance. A smile crept onto my face as I reflected on this, feeling His profound love enveloping me before I stepped into the room. I was convinced it was Jesus, and that the occasion I was about to witness would be a joyous celebration, accessible by invitation only. It was the long-awaited union between Christ and His Church (Believers).

In conclusion, the Lord has granted each of us the profound commandment "to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself," while also warning us against judging one another and instead urging us to pray for one another. It is written, “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” Those who found themselves in the storm were those who lived in disobedience to God, the very individuals whom the world considered unredeemable.

However, that is not the case!

The families gathered by the door were those who consistently prayed and ministered to their loved ones, encouraging them to repent and return to Christ.

Although the changes in those who were prayed for over the years may not always be immediately visible, this does not mean that such changes have not occurred.

Those who emerged from the door, clean and well-dressed, had indeed listened to the warnings and sought the Lord for forgiveness.

For it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

All individuals who have placed their faith in Christ are bestowed the honor of being called Sons and Daughters of God.

They will now take their places at the marriage supper of the Lamb.

For everyone who wishes to participate as well, I extend to you an invitation together with family and friends and other believers to join us in celebration of life within Christ.

By your own free will, you accept Christ as Lord and savior. This will be the most important declaration you will make. Do not allow this moment to pass; tomorrow is not promised and Jesus is coming.

When you declare with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, it is written you will be saved. This has nothing to do with religion and all to do with a relationship. For it is written, "It is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."

Please repeat this prayer: "Lord, Jesus, forgive me of my sins I committed against you. I believe Jesus died for my sins and has risen again. Please come into my life and heart and lead the way. I confess you as my Lord and savior from this day forward. In Jesus' name, amen."

Welcome into the family of Christ.

As you grow in the Lord, may you be blessed continuously. Shalom, go in peace.

"As events continue to unfold around the world, do not be afraid—remember the words of our Lord."

Find comfort in His words. Be blessed - Edith

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 NKJV
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 NKJV
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

John 14:1-3 NKJV
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 NKJV
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 NKJV
For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
