This Wednesday Night will kick off our Quest Children’s Bible Study! We will meet in the Children’s Church Room from 6:00pm to 7:30pm and this Bible Study will be for children who’s parent’s attend the Adult Bible Study. We are so excited for this Summer!

Today we rest in the knowledge of Christ’s resurrection, but the early disciples were left wanting.

After following Jesus for three years he’s suddenly gone… what about the mission? What about the plan to overcome this world and bring about peace?

The disciples, now scattered, scared, hiding, and in fear of persecution. The weight of confusion and grief as they shared stories of their life with their messiah.

Three years of miracles, of hope, of “this is the one” and now… a sealed tomb.

Meanwhile, in Heaven, God wasn’t confused. There was no panic, disappointment, or fear. What looked like defeat on Friday, what felt like abandonment on Saturday, was always the path to Sunday.

That’s the hope we carry today.

What felt sealed off, silent, and finished on Saturday, was God’s plan continuing to unfold in his perfect timing. While the disciples sat scared and uncertain, the story wasn’t over, because Sunday’s coming.

The reality is, the same power that rolled away the stone is still at work today.

He is risen.
