Good morning church family!
This past Lord’s Day I preached part two of our series on Biblical Sexuality, Man, Woman, Marriage, and the Church. In this message, I unpacked the husband’s high calling from Ephesians 5: “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her.”
Headship is not optional or cultural — it is creational and gospel-shaped. Men are called to lead, protect, nourish, and sanctify their wives and families with sacrificial, decisive love. Wives are called to *flourish* under that godly covering. I also addressed honestly where we have failed as men and women, and pointed us back to the hope we have in Christ, who loved His rebellious bride while we were still His enemies.
