"AN INVITATION" .....from Pastor Glen

Throughout Scripture, we see this theme unfold in powerful ways. One is
an Invitation to Rest: Jesus calls out to the weary, saying, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

The most incredible thing about a biblical invitation is that it is entirely unearned. It is a gift of pure grace.

Whether you haven't been to church in a while, attend every week, or are just curious, there is a seat saved just of you. Come as you are–you are officially invited!

The Pastor's title is inviting the congregation to look at God's character with fresh eyes.

To say God is holy means He is unlike anything or anyone else. He is perfect, pure, and completely free from any flaw or darkness. He is the ultimate standard of goodness.

The word AWE-INSPIRING means something that takes your breath away— like standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon or looking up at a sky full of stars. The pastor is saying that when we truly catch a glimpse of who God is, our natural response shouldn't be fear or boredom, but utter amazement and wonder.

The most amazing part of God's holiness is that He doesn't use it to push us away,. Instead, through His grace, He invites ordinary, imperfect people into a relationship with Him.

In short: The pastor is saying, "Our God is incredible grand, beautiful, and perfect—far bigger than our daily worries—and we are going to spend Sunday morning simply marveling at how wonderful He is.
