đŚ HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
HavenRock Church â Day 18 of 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting
A WORD OF GRATITUDE TO THE HAVENROCK FAMILY
HavenRock, on this Thanksgiving morning, I want to pause and simply say: Thank you.
Thank you for your partnership.
Thank you for walking with us through life.
Thank you for standing together in faith, in love, and in unity.
Thank you for the way you care for one another, encourage one another, and lift up the name of Jesus together.
And rememberâwe are so much more than âchurch members.â
Jesus says we are FAMILY.
đ âYou are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with Godâs people and also members of His household.â
â Ephesians 2:19
In Godâs eyes, weâre not an organizationâŚ
Weâre a household.
A family.
A people joined together by grace, bound together by love, and rooted in Christ.
So today, HavenRock Family â Happy Thanksgiving.
You are loved, valued, and deeply appreciated.

đ THANKSGIVING MORNING â BEFORE THE BUSYNESS BEGINS
Before the turkey goes in the ovenâŚ
Before the dressing warmsâŚ
Before the football games startâŚ
Before the house gets loud and fullâŚ
Take a moment.
Just sit with God.
Talk to Him.
Thank Him.
Reflect on His goodness.
List the blessings, big and small.
Breathe in His peace before all the hustle and bustle.
Because the Bible says something powerful:
đ **âGive thanks in all circumstances,
for this is Godâs will for you in Christ Jesus.â**
â 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Thanksgiving isnât just seasonal.
It isnât just emotional.
It isnât based on circumstances.
It is Godâs will for your life.
⸝
⨠**DAY 18 DEVOTIONAL
THANKSGIVING â GODâS WILL FOR US**
1. Thanksgiving is a command rooted in Godâs heart.
God doesnât say âTry to be thankfulâ â He says give thanks.
It is His desire for us because gratitude keeps our hearts soft, alive, and aware of His presence.
đ âEnter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.â
â Psalm 100:4
Thanksgiving is how we enter in.
Gratitude opens the door to God.
⸝
2. Thanksgiving re-centers our hearts on Godâs goodness.
Gratitude shifts the focus from what is missing to what God has done.
đ âI will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of Your wonderful deeds.â
â Psalm 9:1
When we recount His deeds, faith rises.
⸝
3. Thanksgiving destroys anxiety and unlocks Godâs peace.
Every time we thank God, we wage war on fear, stress, and discouragement.
đ âIn every situation⌠with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God⌠will guard your hearts.â
â Philippians 4:6â7
Gratitude is a shield.
A weapon.
A doorway to peace.
