First United Methodist Church Honolulu The mission of First United Methodist Church of Honolulu is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

We do that by glorifying God through our D.A.Y.S: Discipleship, the Arts, Young People, and Service. We are Hawaii's original Methodist Church established in 1855 under a Royal Charter issued by King Kamehameha IV. We are the only congregation in the United Methodism so established. Throughout our history, we have been a church which celebrates diversity under the unifying spirit of Christ and which seeks his leadership in new and innovative ministries.

Temporary housing assistance is available now for residents impacted by recent storms. If you need a safe place to stay, contact 211 as soon as possible.
Aloha United Way’s 211 Statewide Helpline is connecting eligible households with temporary housing through Airbnb for stays of up to 10 nights.
You may be eligible if you:
• Are 18+ and your home has storm-related damage or ongoing power or water outages
• Were housed prior to the storm
• Have an Airbnb account in good standing or can create one
• Have young children, kūpuna, or household members with health-related vulnerabilities or accessibility needs
Important: Once Airbnb credits are issued, your stay must begin within 7 days. Stays are limited to 10 nights with no extensions and must begin within 21 days of the event or partner request.
