🔥 OʻAHU, LET’S WALK WITH JESUS! 🔥

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, Catholics from across the island are coming together for the Jubilee of St. Francis Eucharistic Procession — and we want YOU there!

⛪ 8:00 A.M. Holy Mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Church
🚶 9:00 A.M. Procession begins
📍 3.2-mile pilgrimage to the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa

This is more than a walk.

It’s a chance to pray together, meet fellow Catholics from across Oʻahu, honor St. Francis of Assisi, and boldly bring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament into the streets of Honolulu.

Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your parish, school, ministry, or youth group. Bring your banners and come ready to pray, sing, and walk together in faith!

🙏 One island. One Church. One Eucharistic Lord.

The Co-Cathedral is a designated Jubilee church, where the faithful may receive a Plenary Indulgence under the usual conditions.

🎉 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝟭𝟴𝟯𝗥𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗬, Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace! ⛪️

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 𝟭𝟴𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, observed as a Solemnity in our parish.

Though Tropical Storm Lala is impacting our islands and the faithful have been dispensed from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, our Cathedral parish ʻohana can still celebrate together from the safety of home.

🙏 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶, 𝗦𝗝 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 𝗮.𝗺. 🙏

For 183 years, generations of the faithful have gathered within the historic walls of our Parish to worship, pray, celebrate, mourn, and encounter Christ. Today, we give thanks to God for all who have called our Cathedral home and for all who continue its mission of faith and service.

Mass Dispensation due to Inclement Weather

The Governor declared a state of emergency for Hawaii ahead of Tropical Storm/Hurricane Lala, so travel may be imprudent. Traveling for Mass could be unsafe or prohibited, placing one's life and the lives of others at risk. Bishop Michael T. T. Castori, SJ, has granted a dispensation for all those affected, so the obligation to attend Mass on Sunday, August 16, 2026, is not in force.

For those who cannot attend Mass, time should be spent reading the Word of God or in prayer to mark the Lord's Day.
