Wednesdays at 5:30pm

Sundays at 7am, 9am, 11am and 5pm

Confession:
Saturday from 9:00 a.m.

**LATE POST: A Joyful Welcome into the Church! 🙏❤️**

Mahalo to our parishioner, Linda Dela Cruz, who captured these beautiful photos!

A few Sundays ago, our Sacred Heart Church ʻohana celebrated a very special moment as **two of our parishioners were received into Full Communion with the Catholic Church, and two others received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Eucharist.**

What a blessing to witness them take this important step in their journey of faith! Moments like these remind us that our faith is always a journey. God continues to call us, draw us closer to Him, and invite us into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church.

To our newly received and confirmed brothers and sisters: **welcome and congratulations!** May the Holy Spirit continue to strengthen you, and may the Eucharist always nourish you as you grow in faith and become more deeply part of our parish ʻohana.

And perhaps God is calling **you** too. If you have been thinking about becoming Catholic, completing your Sacraments, or simply learning more about the Catholic faith, we would love to walk with you. There is always a place for you at Sacred Heart.

📢 **FUMIGATION UPDATE**

Due to the strong winds today, the fumigation of Sacred Heart Church and the parish hall has been **postponed** and will be rescheduled for a later date. Fumigation of the rectory will continue as planned.

Because the church will remain available, **our regular Mass schedule will resume.**

Thank you for your patience and flexibility with these changes. We will share the new fumigation dates once they are confirmed.

A blessed encounter today! 🙏

Father Ace, Father Renato, and members of our school administration are gathered with leaders from other Hawai‘i Catholic schools for a day of meeting, learning, and fellowship.

During lunch, we were especially blessed with the opportunity to meet Bishop Michael Castori. We are grateful for moments like these that remind us of the larger Catholic school community we are part of and our shared mission of forming our young people in faith, knowledge, and service.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE: FUMIGATION & TEMPORARY OFFICE RELOCATION

Please be advised that next week, our parish facilities will undergo scheduled fumigation. During this time, our office will be temporarily relocated, and certain buildings will be closed.

Please also take note of the adjusted Mass schedule during the fumigation period.

Although our physical office will be relocated, we are still available to assist you! You may continue to reach our staff through our regular office phone numbers or by email.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important work to care for our parish facilities.

Last Sunday, we were blessed to welcome four college students from the mainland who came to Hawaiʻi for a week of mission and service. During their time on Oʻahu, they served with several churches, Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi, and with us here at Sacred Heart Church.

They joined us for our 11:00 AM Mass, and afterward, our Parish Pastoral Council and Knights of Columbus came together to provide a wonderful potluck luncheon. It gave us a chance to “talk story,” learn more about their lives and their mission, and for them to learn a little more about our parish community here in Hawaiʻi.

Their service continued as they helped clean and beautify the cloister area of our church. We are grateful not only for the work they accomplished, but especially for their willingness to give their time and energy in service to others.

They left Hawaiʻi yesterday to return home and prepare to head back to school. We send them with our prayers and gratitude. May the Lord bless them in their studies, guide them in their future, and give them the grace to continue discerning and faithfully living out their vocations.

Mahalo for spending part of your mission with our Sacred Heart ʻohana! May God continue to bless the work of your hands and the generosity of your hearts. 🙏❤️

It has been 21 years since the Catholic Diocese of Honolulu has welcomed a new shepherd. But a ceremony is scheduled Tuesday at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa to install the 12th leader for Hawaii’s 250,000 Catholics. ⬇

This past Sunday at our 11:00 AM Mass, we had the privilege of recognizing and praying over Trevor and Grace as they begin a new chapter in their lives.

While we are saddened to see them leave our parish ʻohana, we are deeply grateful for the many ways they have faithfully served Sacred Heart Parish. Grace generously volunteered in our parish office, and together they have been active members of our parish community.

As a new parish tradition, we now recognize parishioners who are moving away by presenting them with a painting of Sacred Heart Church as a reminder that they will always have a home here. They are also gifted leis as a symbol of our love and aloha, and receive a special blessing during Mass as we entrust them to God's care on their new journey.

Trevor and Grace, thank you for your faith, generosity, and friendship. May the Lord continue to bless you, guide you in your new opportunities, and remind you that wherever life takes you, you will always be part of the Sacred Heart Parish ʻohana.

God bless you both—you will be greatly missed!

📸 **Last night's Youth Ministry Summer Social was truly a blessing!** ☀️

As we share these photos, our hearts are filled with gratitude for everyone who made this evening possible.

A heartfelt **mahalo** to all who donated food, drinks, desserts, and gave of their time to prepare, cook, set up, and serve. Your generosity created a welcoming space where our parish family could gather in faith, friendship, and joy.

Mahalo as well to everyone who attended and to those who made donations in support of our Youth Ministry. Your love and encouragement mean so much to our young people.

From the bottom of our hearts, **our Youth Ministry thanks you** for believing in them and investing in their faith journey.
