"But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. 18 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness." James 3:17–18, NLT

Wisdom from God and wisdom of this world are two very different things! As followers of Christ we must not only understand this, but live by the wisdom from above, as James exhort us!

If you or I don't understand the difference between wisdom from God and wisdom of this world we will cause ourselves much pain and unnecessary harm!

Here's some hard questions to ask ourselves.

Am I making this choice based on fear, pride, or what looks successful to others?

Does this path honor God and His Word, or does it just make logical sense to human reasoning?

Am I seeking instant comfort or eternal value?

These are not easy questions to ask, but if we have the courage to ask them honestly, God will help us! Remember as followers of christ, we are to be in this world but not of it! Jihn 17:15-19.

If not i remind you of the greatest commandment! It's not to go to church, it's not even to serve, it's much more personal than that!

“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

Jesus replied, “ ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
