Tech Talk at Cortland Christian Academy - Tuesday, November 18th
Cortland, NY – Parents, Friends, and the community, are invited to a presentation, given by Brad Huddleston, about Empowering Students and Parents to Thrive in the Digital Age at Cortland Christian Academy on November 18, 2025 from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
On November 18, Brad will deliver an in-depth parent-only session that will explore the challenges and opportunities of technology, aiming to equip parents to help their children and themselves with practical strategies for healthier, more balanced lives.
Brad is known for his dynamic, relatable approach to complex topics impacting families today. His presentations provide actionable guidance for students and parents alike, fostering healthier relationships with technology and each other.
Parents Only Session (open to all adults)

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Brad’s parent session will provide a deeper exploration of the issues parents face with screen time and technology use. Parents will gain actionable “handles” to help their children—and themselves—navigate challenges such as:
· Understanding the science behind brain rewiring in the digital age
· Recognizing signs of tech overload and its effects on family life
· Supporting healthier sleep patterns and emotional regulation
· Managing aggression and conflict stemming from excessive screen time
· Practical strategies to reduce tech dependence for both parents and children
The session will feature a one-hour presentation followed by a 30-minute Q&A, allowing parents to address specific concerns and receive personalized advice. We will be taking a donation-only love offering for Brad and his wife Beth to help with their travel expenses. He will also have his books for sale at the event.
Brad Huddleston is an internationally respected speaker, consultant, teacher, and author on important issues such as technology and culture. He has worked with universities, schools, churches, and law enforcement. He has spoken to hundreds of thousands worldwide on the advantages of well-used technology tools and the dangers of the growing trend toward technology addiction. Brad has an ongoing collaboration with the Bureau of Market Research (BMR)—an independent company—and its Consumer Neuroscience
Division at the University of South Africa. Brad has a degree in Computer Science and a Diploma of Biblical Studies. He is a frequent guest on radio and television and the author of Digital Rehab: Learning to Live Again in the Real World., Digital Co***ne: A Journey Toward iBalance, and The Dark Side of Technology: Restoring Balance in the Digital Age. Brad also hosts the international radio show Brad Huddleston’s Techwise. Brad and his wife, Beth, live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia in the United States.
