May God bless the wheels that carry you out into the world! May God’s blessing reign over the places you’ll go! Whether you head out into the world in a truck with 18 wheels, a six-wheeled bus full of other students, a four-wheeled car, a two wheeled bike, or the single wheel of a unicycle, may God’s blessing rise up to grasp your treads and keep you safe.

Know that God loves you and cares for you. Even if your homework is late, your students are frustrated, or there’s traffic on the road of life, God loves you. So, go forth with a ready mind, clear thoughts, and a hopeful heart. Go in love, and may the love you share come back to you multiplied by grace. Amen.

Please join us as we remember and celebrate the life of Connie Steger this Friday, August 28th, at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Homer.

A cookie reception will follow the service. If you are able to bring a dozen cookies to share, the family and our hospitality team would be deeply grateful! If you do bring cookies, please include a small label listing any allergens (nuts, gluten, dairy, etc.) to help keep all our guests safe.

We look forward to gathering together in memory, community, and support.
