Dear Pastors & friends of Circle of Love Ministry:

It was just 76 days ago that you received the Nov. - Dec. Circle of Love Report! My how time flies!! (psa. 90:12) Life is kinda like a roll of toilet paper...the closer you get to the end of the roll...the faster it goes!!! This is exactly why we need to make our calling and election sure! (salvation)

We are losing fewer and fewer C of L mailers! PTL Mailing to blind persons in the U. S. and most other countries is free, but the containers come with a cost....$2 for the special drive and $2 for the mailer. Thanks for your prayers!

I miss getting out to churches to present the Gospel message and what God is doing through C of L, but with Bette's dementia it is NOT possible. We sold our van and at this time we are dependent on others to get us to the Dr., church, etc. I have groceries delivered--this is a GREAT blessing! PTL So when you get 'behind the wheel' give thanks for this blessing from God...BECAUSE IT IS!!

Our biggest supplier of Talking KJV Bibles, which was from China...is no more. Nice guys these Chinese government folk, huh? Please pray for this need!

Thanks soooo very much for your prayers for mine and Bette's health! Sometimes I feel overwhelmed, but God is faithful! In August Bette & I will celebrate 56 years together....just amazing to me.

Dear reader...."Are you saved? If you died right now; where would you be?; could you say like the Apostle Paul..."For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain." If there is one iota of doubt...get alone and tell God you're sorry for your sins and ask Him to forgive you and save you! Then determine to live for Him (2 Corinthians 5:17) Until May thanks for ALL you do and keep looking up....HE IS COMING AGAIN!

Maranatha
Titus 2:13

And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16

Welcome to the Circle Of Love Ministry To the Blind Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. We are very thankful for your prayers and support through the past Fall and Christmas Seasons. It
was a very busy time, but amazing to see God work. We were blessed to host a supporting Pastor and his
wife at the beginning of October. They were able to minister alongside us and meet the people. October
also brought a visit from Bro. Dean & his wife, Laura, who God is using to start a “Chicken Coop Ministry”
with our church family. He was able to bring out the first “Coop” to test against the South Dakota winter
and reservation dogs. He also brought the supplies to make the first 10 coops. Bro. Dean was able to
testify about all the ways God has already provided for that ministry. They also spent a week with us,
working right with us and the kids.
God provided for the people of the church and around the reservation during the months of
October, November, and December. Bro. Steve was able to line up additional produce to distribute to
those in need. Pastor Billings and his family, from Wisconsin, assisted with a Fall Giveaway and outreach.
The people were blessed by special music. We were able to pass out food at the Fall Giveaway and pass
out food to those throughout the fall and Christmas Seasons who needed it. We are so thankful for those
who contributed to Food Vouchers to bless faithful church families who could use additional food supplies
for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was a blessing to be able to distribute and show those how God has
supplied their needs. With much help there was over 100,000lbs of food distributed across the reservation
and many great conversations about the Lord along the way. Praise the Lord for all HE has done in showing
the Oglala Lakota people who they can really trust in.
Fall and Christmas Giveaway fell close together this year. To kick off the Christmas Giveaway, we
hosted a Ladies Baking Fellowship for all the church ladies and teen girls. Our first team to help with the
Christmas Giveaway has been coming for years. Jerry, Ricky and Ray brought two sweet young ladies with
them. Ms. Jerry and the girls helped with our first Baking Fellowship and our ladies were blessed by the
testimony and devotion Jerry shared with the group. The group was a blessing in setting up the Christmas
giveaway and seeing their sweet fellowship with the people they have gotten to know over the years. Each
family comes in at their own time slot for drinks, treats, fellowship and was taken through the Christmas
Giveaway to pick out needed supplies and bless the youth with Christmas gifts.
The next week a family from North Carolina came to help with the remaining Christmas
appointments. We were also able to help distribute some furniture while they were here and take a Bus
loaded with the supplies out into the communities. On one of the distribution trips, we were approached
by a group from one town who are known for bullying and physical attacks. What they meant for evil the
Lord used as a testimony of his protection while doing HIS will. The leader came to attack, after Mike told
him that all that was in the trailer was spoken for, he stumbled and fell on his face and became disoriented
and they turned and walked away.
This year, we had 2 church families help with the Christmas Bus distribution in Allen, and another
man from the church helped with a Christmas Bus distribution in Batesland. This year, we had a couple
church families pray about a family in need. They helped to find out the specific needs of the family and
helped to deliver the Christmas supplies to those in need.

Regular ministry continues during these larger outreaches. Our largest bus had a caliper break,
and the brakes went out while picking up on a Sunday morning. God allowed it to break while we had men
here helping. Bro Ray and our son David worked together on repairing the Bus in between Christmas
Giveaway slots. We still have a weekly breakfast and lunch for the people. The bus and van still go out to
pick up those who would like to attend services. At this point, we are still only capable of picking up one
town each Sunday. The Bus goes to Pine Ridge one Sunday, the next Sunday it picks up in Wounded Knee.
Even when the schedule is full, there is still time to minister to those in their greatest time of need, when
loved ones pass away. The Lord had me minister at a wake and funeral and gave me the opportunity to
share the Gospel with and minister to a medicine man who needed a ride home from the funeral. He is
still searching and reads the Bible. It was a blessing to see God drawing and working in another’s life.
This year, we had our first Christmas Eve Candlelight service. This was a special time to come
together and worship the Lord in a busy season. The people were blessed and are already talking about
next year. The Christmas season can be busy here and it is easy to get lost in all the work. Our own kids,
put up Christmas decorations in October, because they wanted to “enjoy” putting up the decorations
before the work for the Christmas Giveaway began. Our oldest son, Mason, came home for Christmas.
We were blessed to enjoy some quiet moments together celebrating Christmas with our kids and family.
Mason loved his time “home” and ministering alongside us for the holidays.
We do know, and are thankful, for all those who pray for us and the church family here. We are
seeing God move in lives, challenge, and draw people to Himself. We have also felt those prayers and
know that we would not still be ministering here without the prayers and support of others. Even as we
hope to use the winter months to catch up on projects, we are preparing for events, projects, and ministry
this upcoming year. This included a trip this fall to Greater Waco Baptist Church to present the ministry
and meet with their team to prepare for a Cowboy Revival this summer in July.
Please continue to pray for the following needs:
 White Diesel Bus is still in the mechanic’s shop. Please pray for wisdom for the mechanic
to finish the repairs and for the finances.
 Starting Thursday night Bible Study and Prayer.
 Pellet Grill/ Smoker
 Support for the Church and our Family
