‼️A MESSAGE FROM MARSHALL COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES ‼️

Marshall County Emergency Management has asked The Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief and The American Red Cross to assist in Marshall County due to Saturday’s Severe Weather event. To report Damage to your property or if you are needing assistance with Debris blocking your driveway or on your house The Baptist Disaster team can assist. They will start with the elderly and special needs. Other personal assistance can be provided by The American Red Cross. The get assistance or report damage you can call (662) 333-1152.

Due to no power or water at the church, we have decided to CANCEL all services at the church today. Please stay safe and aware of the storm damages around the area if you must get out.

ATTN: There is no power at the church due to inclement weather this evening. As of now, there will be NO Sunday School services. We are hoping to have an abbreviated worship service at 9:30 am. Stay tuned for more updates.

We will post in the morning by 8:00 am the plans for service. Tonight no power at the church. In no power in the morning we will have a short time of worship and the word beginning at 9:30 am. If the power is back the of course, we will have regular services. Be on the lookout in the morning.

The Mt. Pleasant Community Church is pleased to announce the opening of a food pantry, named Jen’s Heart, located in Mt. Pleasant, MS. Our mission is to provide support to families in need within the Mt. Pleasant area, especially those going through difficult times. Please note that this pantry is entirely funded through individual donations and is not supported by state funding.

The first food drive will take place at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church on August 8th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM or until all given out.

Location:
8 Methodist Street
South side of the Mt
Pleasant square.
Follow signs.

All recipients are kindly requested to bring a valid form of identification to verify residency within the Mt. Pleasant community.

This pantry will operate once a month initially, with plans to increase to twice monthly in the near future.

5-Day Club® is an exciting, fun-filled one and one-half hour held each day. It includes: dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary story, meaningful songs, life-changing Scripture memorization.
Who sponsors the club?
5-Day Club is sponsored by CEF® , an international, Bible-centered organization, which has been in existence for over 60 years. CEF currently ministers in over 157 countries, teaching biblical principles to more than eight million children each year.
Who can attend?
5-Day Club is open to all boys and girls between the ages of five and twelve, regardless of religious background. You are welcome to attend the club with your child.

Our youth and leaders had a wonderful week at camp. So thankful for the opportunity to go and serve and help make a difference in this area of Chattanooga. Thank you for all the support your financial contributions, prayer, loving on them and all of the encouragement. Such a sweet lil youth group who enjoy each others company and doing life and camp together.

Youth camp 2026!! Please be praying for this group and how God will use them this week as they serve the community in and surrounding Chattanooga.

THEME SCRIPTURE: “This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come
to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.” 1 Timothy 2:3-6 (ESV)
We are all searching for something. Some search for meaning, others for peace, love, or purpose. Many try to fill the void
with success, relationships, or pleasures only to realize that nothing truly satisfies them. But the answer to every longing
has always been the same since the beginning: Jesus Christ. The gospel is not just for some people, in some places, or for
some struggles. It is For All.
Jesus’ grace is not limited to a person’s background, certain sins, particular needs, or even time. His grace is wide enough to
cover every failure. His provisions are deep enough to meet every need, and His truth is strong enough to last For All time.
Whether you feel unworthy of forgiveness or unsure where to turn, the Good News remains unchanged! It is for you, the
person next to you, the person across the world, and even for the person you least expect.
But knowing this truth is not enough. We must respond to it! If the gospel is For All then it must be central to how we live.
We must embrace it fully, share it boldly, and trust it completely. The gospel is not just for a moment; it is for every breath,
every step, and every generation. The gospel is the greatest gift, and it is For All.

Summer Camp
VBS is in 19 days!!!

Please share and get the word out about our VBS but most of all please be in prayer.
Pray for what God has planned for this year. Be in prayer for our leaders, volunteers, those that will be preparing and setting up. Be in prayer for each child registered and attending. Each seed planted is one that can grow and flourish, but most importantly, we pray for those that will come to know Him through this ministry.
