🕊️ Monday Message Recap

The Contrast of Two Mothers
1 Kings 16:29–34 | 1 Kings 22:51–53 | 2 Kings 3:1–3 | 1 Samuel 1:8–20 | James 4:4–6

This week’s message contrasted two mothers: Jezebel and Hannah.

Jezebel represents a life marked by independence from God, self-reliance, control, and pride. Her influence led others further away from obedience to the Lord.

Hannah represents humility, submission, and dependence on God. In her pain, she prayed. In her waiting, she trusted. In her blessing, she surrendered back to God.

The reminder for us is this: outcomes are not our responsibility, but inputs are.

We cannot control every result, but we are responsible for what we put in: our faith, our obedience, our humility, our prayers, our example, and our dependence on God.

“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
James 4:6 NKJV

May we choose the posture of Hannah: humble, prayerful, surrendered, and dependent on God.

🕊️ Monday Message Recap

The Incompatibility of Sin & Saints
1 John 3:4–9 (NKJV)

This week’s message reminded us that sin and sainthood do not belong together. Those who belong to Christ are called to live differently because Christ has changed us.

Sin is incompatible with the law of God. Sin is not just a mistake; it is lawlessness against God.

Sin is incompatible with the work of Christ. Jesus came to take away sin, not make room for us to remain in it.

Sin is incompatible with Christ’s purpose. The Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil.

Sin is incompatible with the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Those who are born of God are being transformed by His Spirit and cannot be comfortable practicing sin.

Knowing Jesus should change how we live. Saints may stumble, but we do not settle in sin. Christ calls us out of darkness and empowers us to walk in righteousness.

Let’s examine our hearts, surrender what does not please God, and live as those who truly belong to Him.

🕊️ Monday Message Recap: Do You Know Him?

1 John 2:28–3:3 reminds us that knowing Jesus isn’t just about recognition—it’s about relationship, transformation, and trust.

To know Him is to be connected to Him. It’s not surface-level or occasional—it’s personal and ongoing. When you truly know Jesus, your life begins to reflect Him. Your choices, your attitude, your responses—they start to look different because He is shaping you from the inside out.

Those who know Jesus don’t just claim Him, they live like Him. Not perfectly, but intentionally. There’s a pursuit of righteousness, a desire to grow, and a willingness to align with His Word.

And ultimately, those who know Him live by faith. Faith isn’t just something we say we have—it’s how we move, how we trust, and how we obey even when it’s uncomfortable. Just like Joseph obeyed without hesitation, and just as Romans reminds us that the just shall live by faith, our lives should be marked by that same confidence in God.

So the real question is: Do you know Him?

Not just about Him—but do you walk with Him, reflect Him, and trust Him?

This week, choose to draw closer, live intentionally, and walk boldly in faith.

🕊️ Monday Message Recap: The Way!

This week’s message reminded us that choosing wisely starts with knowing who Christ is and staying rooted in His truth.

1 John 2:18–23 teaches us that antichrist is any spirit or person who opposes Christ. That opposition can come from outside the church, but it can also come from within. Some may even walk away from the faith, and in doing so reveal where they truly stand.

But true believers are not left without help. God has given us His Spirit, the Spirit of truth, to dwell within us. Because of Him, we have discernment. We are able to recognize truth from error and remain grounded in Christ.

John 14:5–11 reminds us plainly: Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. When we choose Christ, we do not just get part of God’s promise, we have the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In Him is life, hope, and the only true way to God.

Choose wisely.
Choose Christ.
Stay with the truth.

🕊️ Monday Message Recap

This week’s message reminded us that faith cannot be separated from the cross and the resurrection. Jesus is the only way to the Father, and the path to life is narrow, but it is sure through Him.

At the cross, Jesus and the Father were not in conflict. Jesus was not abandoned in defeat. His cry pointed to prophecy and fulfilled what had already been written. He willingly stayed on the cross, though He had the power to call for deliverance, because the cross was always part of God’s redemptive plan. And when Jesus died, the veil in the temple was torn from top to bottom, showing that through His sacrifice we now have access to God.

Through the cross, Jesus accomplished everything needed for our salvation. He paid the price for sin, became the propitiation for us, and satisfied God’s righteous requirement. The cross was not an accident. It was the place where mercy and justice met.

We were also reminded that standing on truth is a service to the world. People need to hear the gospel. They need someone willing to speak, share, and stand firm in what is true, because faith comes through the message of Christ.

The heart of the Christian faith is this: Jesus died, was buried, and rose again. Our hope is not built on inspiration alone, but on the finished work of Christ and the power of His resurrection.

May we live this week grounded in the truth that our faith stands because Jesus went to the cross and got up from the grave.
