"More Than Conquerors"

❄️🏔️ What an amazing week at Vacation Bible School! 🏔️❄️

From June 22–24, Holly Springs First Methodist Church was transformed into Cokesbury’s Snowball Mountain Challenge, with our VBS program wrapping up on June 25. It was a week filled with worship, Bible stories, crafts, games, music, laughter, and growing in God’s love.

Our theme verse for the week reminded us:

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13

Each day, our children discovered powerful Lift Lessons that they can carry with them long after VBS ended:
❄️ I can share my gifts!
❄️ I can be brave!
❄️ I can give my all!
❄️ I can pray!
❄️ I can hope!

One of the most meaningful parts of the week was learning about our mission project, Water for Tanzania. The children collected donations to support well drilling in the dry rural region of Mara in northern Tanzania, where many families must walk miles each day to collect unsafe, disease-contaminated water. Through their generosity, they learned that even small acts of kindness can make a life-changing difference for others around the world.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers, teachers, youth helpers, kitchen crew, decorators, parents, and everyone who donated their time, talents, and resources. Your dedication made this week such a special experience for our children.

Most of all, we pray each child left knowing that no matter what challenges they face, they can trust in Jesus, who gives them strength every step of the way.

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

We are already looking forward to VBS 2027!
