Smith Grove Missionary Baptist Church is deeply saddened by the passing of one of our beloved elders, Deacon Fred Falkner. To know him was truly to love him. He was soft spoken, yet firm in wisdom, faith, and integrity. Deacon Falkner faithfully served as a deacon of Smith Grove for decades, dedicating his life to God, his church, and his community with humility and honor. His presence, prayers, guidance, and unwavering commitment to ministry have left an everlasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that his labor was not in vain and that he now rests peacefully in the presence of the Lord. “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” Matthew 25:23 Please continue to keep the Falkner family and the Smith Grove church family lifted in prayer during this difficult time. Deacon Falkner’s legacy of faithfulness and service will forever remain in our hearts. Arrangements: May 23rd Body will lie in state from 10 to 10:50a and Funeral will start at 11am.
