GETTING READY 🎣 OAK GROVE FISH FRY

Thank you Hope Center men for coming to rake and clean up around our outdoor tables and cooking shed!! It looks so great! Gerry, Danny and Freddy appreciated the help! We hope you enjoyed Oak Grove home cooking and we know the donation from Oak Grove Women’s Club will be put to good use.

GETTING READY 🎣 OAK GROVE FISH FRY 🎣 JULY 10

Oak Grove Women’s Club sorted 80 pounds of beans yesterday! Yep! That’s how many pounds it takes for our fish fry. Slow cooked all day with country ham, it’s worth coming for the beans alone! We invite you to join us Friday, July 10th. We begin serving at 5:00 and will serve until 8:00 unless we run out. Meal includes fried catfish fillets -or- BBQ chicken half served with fries, white beans ‘n ham, coleslaw, hushpuppies, homemade desserts, plus tea or lemonade! It all makes for a fun evening of great food and fellowship! Dine with us under the oaks or carry out. Adults - $15, Children under 12 - $10.

❤️ 5TH SUNDAY AT OAK GROVE!

We all used the BIG pots and cooked up a storm for our traditional fifth Sunday meal. It was delicious as always and enjoyed in a building full of Christian love. There are usually four fifth Sundays a year. We think they are more than worth the big pots!! ✝️💟

✝️🙏 UPDATE & PRAYER REQUEST - JACK MCVICKERS

We ask you to join us in many prayers for Jack and Gwynn McVickers. Last week, Jack took a fall at home and was admitted to Maury Regional where he stayed through the weekend. This morning, Gwynn shared with us that he was moved yesterday to receive several days of intense therapy to hopefully strengthen him and make him more steady on his feet. Visitors and cards are welcomed!
