This past Sunday, March 29, we had the privilege of honoring Sis Whitney for Pastor’s Wife Appreciation Month.

Palm Sunday is about welcoming the King, and I shared with our church that there are people who quietly help make room for Him. That is exactly what Whitney has done time and time again.

She has prayed when no one saw it. She has carried burdens that were never announced. She has encouraged, steadied, and stayed faithful through every season. Much of what she does will never be on a platform, but it has made a difference in this church.

She is also our piano player, a beautiful singer, and our worship leader. Week after week, she helps lead this church into the presence of God and keeps praise in the house.

A good pastor’s wife does not want the spotlight. She wants Jesus to have His rightful place. And Whitney has always helped keep Him at the center of this house.

We are not celebrating a title. We are thanking God for a life of faithfulness, sacrifice, and love for people.

Whitney, I love you, I honor you, and I thank God for you. Napier Pentecostal Church is better because of your life and your labor.

And to our church family, thank you for showing such genuine love and appreciation. It meant more than you know.
