One of the hardest truths to accept is that God doesn’t send people to hell because He hates them or because He never gave them a chance. Scripture shows us a God who is patient, merciful, and desires for everyone to come to repentance.

God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to make a way for sinners to be saved. The cross is proof that God went to great lengths to rescue humanity. But love does not force itself on anyone. God gives us the choice to receive Him or reject Him.

The tragedy of hell is not that God refused people—it is that many refused the One who came to save them.

Today, if you hear His voice, don’t harden your heart. His grace is still available, His arms are still open, and His invitation still stands:

THE FORGOTTEN ONE, THE HOLY SPIRIT

John 16:7 (AMP) However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

The Holy Spirit. We talk about Jesus, we talk about the Father, but we seem to forget the One that Jesus said to wait for; the One that would fill us with the power of God. We seem to forget to acknowledge Him as part of the Godhead, yet He is as much God as God the Father, and our Lord Jesus. So let us take a little time and get to know Him.

Jesus, in this verse, tells us that it is expedient that He goes away so that the Holy Spirit would come. I do not know about you, but I would say, “NO WAY! I want Jesus!” I would like to have been with Him like Peter, James and John. Yet Jesus tells us that the Holy Spirit is like Himself, and can be at all places at all times.

You see, when Jesus walked on this earth, He lived in an earthly body like yours and mine, so if He was in Jerusalem, then He was not in Rome. Yet when we look at the Holy Spirit, He is Omnipresent: He exists everywhere! There is no place in heaven, on earth, or in the universe that He is not there. He is Omnipotent: He is all-powerful, and He is Omniscient: He knows everything that there is to know.

So today, living inside each and every person that has received Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior, is Almighty God, the Holy Spirit. Jesus told us that He is coming to be our Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, and Standby. This is such amazing truth that we should take a few minutes right now and thank Him for living in us, and helping us each and every day. The scripture also has promised us that He would never leave us or forsake us. This is truly GOOD NEWS!

CONFESSION: Today, inside of me, I have the all-powerful, all-knowing and always present Holy Spirit to help me in my life journey. God is so good to me!

TODAY’S VERSE
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.’ Philippians 4:8 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
What thoughts do you fix your mind on? It is so easy to believe negative things. We have a negative bias. Negative thoughts give way to more negative thoughts. Paul knows how to put a stop to it. Think about it. He was beaten, shipwrecked, stoned, and put in prison. If anyone could have had an excuse to feel negative, it would have been him. Instead, he tells us to think about things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise! What a litmus test. Today, check your own thoughts. See if they pass the test. If not, stop! You can’t help what thoughts come into your mind, but you can do something about them once they are there. May God help us think on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise!

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Father, help me renew my thinking. I need your help so I can focus my thoughts on that which is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise! AMEN

“And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.”
1 Kings 18:21 (NKJV)

As any good parent does, we seek to be patient with our children because we love them. So we give them warning after warning and we do it in love. However, when they refuse to listen and obey, we transform from nice to someone that’s about to correct improper behavior. It’s the quiet before the storm. God operates much in the same way. He is extremely patient and longsuffering with the undecided. He gives us chance after chance to choose whether we will live for Him or continue to live for the devil. We are living in His quiet before the storm. In this day in time, it’s popular to be a Christian, but it’s unpopular to be sold out. It’s popular to read the Bible, but it’s unpopular to live by it. It’s popular to pray, but unpopular to let the God we pray to govern our lives. In our refusal to choose to serve God, we find ourselves gradually drifting away into acceptance of worldly views and approaching judgement. Currently, there are over 6 billion people living on the planet. Out of this vast number, 2.1 billion are Christians. Yet, with all of this proclaimed faith in God, the world has grown increasingly wicked. If there was ever a time to let your voice be heard, the time is now! If there was ever a time to courageously live out loud, the time is now! Be bold in your stance for righteousness. Draw a line in the sand of whose side you are on. People will leave you, persecute you, and slander you, but it’s much better to upset a people rather than God. Don’t be ashamed of the Gospel and don’t be afraid of people’s faces. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. If God be God, serve Him!

Prayer: Father, today I make it official. I’m on Your side! You are God and I serve You. Come what may, I’m going to continue to live sold out for You by Your grace and power. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

TODAY’S THOUGHT
It is so easy to lose our way. If not lost, then we just aren’t sure which way to go. Direction is so essential. I think I can make it down most paths if I were sure it was the one God wanted me to take. There is an assurance when you know He is directing you. There is peace when you know that He knows exactly where you are and what lies ahead. There is hope in the midst of each step when you know that God has said, “This is the way; walk in it.” So today, pray with the Psalmist. Cry out to God and say, “ Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All-day long, I put my hope in you.”

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear God, please show me the right path to go on. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for I put my hope in you.

Heavenly Father, I pray that I will always seek understanding of your word and walk in the path that you would have me walk.

Being a Christian isn’t a comfortable path—it’s a daily surrender.

The call is for many, but the walk is for those who choose to deny the flesh, fight the unseen battles, and cling to God even when it costs them.

Spiritual warfare is real, but so is His strength in us.

Not by our might—but by His grace, we stand. 🙏🏻

“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life” John 10:10, New Living Translation (NLT)

When an eagle swoops down to pick up a fish from the water, if it holds on to a fish that is too big for too long, the eagle risks drowning. What a waste of a beautiful soaring creature—to be drowned by a fish.

Are you being drowned by a fish? Refusing to let go of your catch or that relationship? It doesn’t matter who the person may be and what they’ve meant to you in the past, if God has instructed you to let them go, you must let them go or you will drown! Holding on to them will cause you to do things you wouldn’t normally do, say things you wouldn’t normally say, and act in ways that is totally uncharacteristic of you. They are not worth you losing yourself, losing your life and God’s destiny for your life.

This is how the enemy destroys a life. He entices you to hold on to, run after, obsess over, and completely lose yourself in your hunt for a fish. Loose them and let them go so you can soar the way God intended for you to soar. You may can’t imagine life without them, but now is the time to obey His prompting lest you drown.

“Fear is a Liar

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear is one of the enemy’s greatest weapons. It slips into our thoughts quietly, planting seeds of doubt, worry, insecurity, and uncertainty. Before long, those seeds begin to grow, and if we’re not careful, fear will keep us from walking in the very things God has called us to do.

Fear will hold you back.

It will convince you that you’re not qualified, not strong enough, not capable enough, or that you’re destined to fail. It will cause you to question God’s promises and doubt His faithfulness. Fear wants you frozen when God is calling you forward.

The enemy understands that if he can keep you afraid, he can keep you from your purpose.

Think about it. How many blessings have been delayed because of fear? How many opportunities have been missed because of fear? How many dreams have remained dormant because fear whispered, What if it doesn’t work?

But here’s the truth:

Satan is a liar.

Jesus said in John 8:44 that the devil is the father of lies. Fear is often nothing more than a lie disguised as reality. It tells you that God won’t come through when He always has. It tells you that you’re alone when God promised never to leave you. It tells you that defeat is certain when God has already declared you victorious through Christ.

Fear magnifies the problem, but faith magnifies God.

The next time fear begins knocking at the door of your heart, don’t invite it in. Stand on the Word of God. Remind yourself of His promises. Speak truth over your situation. Trust that the same God who brought you through yesterday will carry you through today.

Do not allow fear to fulfill the enemy’s desires for your life. Instead, let faith arise and trust the One who holds your future.

God never intended for fear to be your guide.

He intended for Himself to be.

Prayer: Father, forgive me for the times I have allowed fear to control my thoughts and decisions. Today, I choose to trust You. Help me recognize the lies of the enemy and replace them with the truth of Your Word. Strengthen my faith and give me courage to walk boldly in the purpose You have for my life. I declare that fear will not rule me, because You have given me power, love, and a sound mind. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
