Hiding in plain sight, a carved sunburst decorates the end of each pew in our sanctuary—a design Christians have used for centuries to symbolize God's light, presence, and glory. Maybe you sit in a pew just like this each Sunday and never notice the carving. And maybe that's what makes it so meaningful. The symbol doesn't demand attention. It simply waits to be noticed.

Like grace.
Like mercy.
Like the countless ways God is present in our lives, even when we're too busy to see it.

Sometimes the most ordinary details carry the deepest reminders.
