🛡️ A New Safety Team at Thrive

Beginning this Sunday, you may notice a security vehicle in the parking lot and Safety Team members wearing security vests throughout Thrive Church. We want you to know there’s no cause for concern—this is part of Thrive’s proactive efforts to care for our church family. 💚

Our new Safety Team will have members stationed at the main entrance, FLC doors, and Worship Center, with an additional team member outside. They’ll be equipped with two-way radios so they can communicate quickly should an emergency arise.

This is just one step in Thrive’s ongoing work to be proactive, prepared, and ready to respond while creating a welcoming place where you can focus on worship and fellowship. ❤️

🥳 What a wonderful 5th Sunday at Thrive! 💚

Our 5th Sunday Family Potluck was filled with good food, lots of laughter, a little friendly competition, and—most importantly—time spent together as a church family!

From sharing a meal around the table to some very competitive rounds of co****le 😄, it was such a fun afternoon of fellowship across generations.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who brought a dish, helped set up or clean up, organized the games, and simply showed up to be part of the fun. ❤️

These are the moments that remind us that church is about more than gathering on Sunday mornings—it’s about doing life together, building relationships, and making room for everyone at the table.

Can these bones live again?

In Ezekiel’s vision, God brings a message of judgment—but He doesn’t leave His people without hope. The valley of dry bones points us toward a powerful promise: God brings life where there was none, and that life is found in Jesus Christ.

No situation is too broken, too empty, or too far gone for God to breathe new life into it. ❤️

🏹 Centershot Fun Tournament! 🎯

What a great day of fellowship, fun, and a little friendly competition!

Thrive’s Centershot participants recently joined our friends from Holly First Baptist Church for a fun tournament. The kids put their archery skills to the test with bullseye shooting and a 3D shoot, shared a devotional together, and celebrated one another as prizes were awarded.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this that allow kids to build skills, make friendships, and grow in faith—all while having a whole lot of fun! 💚

A big thank you to Holly First Baptist Church, our Centershot leaders and volunteers, and everyone who helped make the day possible.

🎒🙏 A Prayer for Our Students as They Head Back to School

As backpacks are packed, classrooms reopen, and a new school year begins, Thrive Church is praying over every student, teacher, administrator, and family stepping into this new season. 💚

We pray for more than good grades and successful school days. We pray that our children would be rooted in Christ and courageous in their faith.

🙏 May God give them wisdom when they have choices to make.

🛡️ May He place His protection around them—in their classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, buses, and travels to and from school.

💚 May they recognize the child sitting alone, stand against bullying, show kindness, and have courage to ask for help when something isn't right.

🧭 May they have discernment when the voices around them conflict with what they know to be true.

✝️ May they resist the idols our culture puts before them—the pressure to fit in, achieve, compare, seek approval, or find their worth anywhere other than Christ.

🧂 May they be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, reflecting Jesus through their words and actions.

📚 May God give our teachers wisdom, patience, compassion, and strength as they pour into the next generation.

And when our children encounter things that challenge them, may they remember that God goes with them. They never walk through those school doors alone.

> “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” — Proverbs 2:6

Thrive family, as you see a school bus this week, pass a school building, or send a child out the door, take a moment and pray. Let's cover our schools and our children in prayer throughout this entire school year. 🙏💚

Lord, guard their hearts. Guide their steps. Give them wisdom. Keep them safe. And let them shine brightly for You. Amen.
