As we work towards the latter part of Peter's letter, we consider the life of discipleship. We are called to follow Christ and share the hope that is in us, yet in this joyous calling, we will face difficulty. Throughout Holy Week, we've been considering the words of those surrounding Jesus. As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, we rejoice in the message of the angels that is repeated by our Risen Savior, "Don't be afraid." While reasons for fear are many in our world, we have confidence in the One who rules over all, even death.
