Mission Statement: To establish a setting in which the contemplative life, with a strong focus on solitude and solitary prayer will be available in the context of austere simplicity, with two apostolates, namely one of helping persons deepen in prayer and self-discipline, and the apostolate of making the Catholic Faith available primarily to non-Catholics, especially to African-Americans, by door to door visitation.
