Have you ever wondered why God’s plans don’t always look the way you expected? Or questioned whether He has forgotten His promises when life takes an unexpected turn? In Week 3 of our Come & See series, we’ll explore the encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well and discover three things people often misunderstand about Jesus: The Promise, The Purpose, and The Plan. Through this powerful story, we’re reminded that God sees beyond our expectations, His purpose is still to save, heal, restore, and set people free, and His plans often include divine appointments we never would have anticipated. You may be tempted to stick with the familiar, follow your own agenda, or wonder where God is leading you—but what if He is inviting you to see things from His perspective?

Jesus is still calling us to “Come and See”—not just to hear about Him, but to experience His presence, discover His purpose, and live the abundant life He offers.

At some point, “Come and see” requires a response. You can watch from a distance. You can remain curious. You can keep asking questions. Or you can follow.
Jesus said the road that leads to life is narrow.

It may not always be easy. It may not always be popular. But it is worth it.
Don't just come and see Jesus. Follow Him.

Sometimes the things keeping us from God aren't bad things.

They're just things we've allowed to become more important than God.
Career.
Possessions.
Relationships.
Busyness.
Fear.
Unanswered questions.

Jesus is still extending the invitation:
“Come, for everything is now ready.”
Don't let an excuse keep you from an encounter with Jesus.

You don't have to explain yourself to Jesus.
He understands.
He knows grief.
He knows rejection.
He knows disappointment.
He knows joy.
He knows betrayal.
He knows what it means to be human.
So bring Him what you're carrying today.
You are not coming to a Savior who doesn't understand.
Come and see.

Nicodemus came to Jesus in the darkness.
But he didn't have to stay there. Neither do we.

Jesus doesn't expose our darkness to shame us. His light reveals what needs healing so He can bring transformation.

Whatever you're carrying today:
Come into the Light.
The darkness doesn't get the final word.

Faith isn't simply seeing enough evidence to believe.
Faith is allowing Jesus to transform us.
Nicodemus had knowledge.
He had position.
He had religious experience.
But Jesus invited him to something deeper.

“You must be born again.”
Don't settle for knowing about Jesus.
Come and see. Come and experience. Come and be changed.

What would happen if we stopped simply hearing about Jesus and accepted His invitation to “Come and See”? In this message, we continue our journey through the Gospel of John and explore the encounter between Jesus and Nicodemus—a man who was curious about Jesus but struggled to step fully into the Light. As we uncover Jesus as the Light of the World, the Son of Man, and the Son of God, we’re reminded that faith is more than knowing about Jesus; it is experiencing Him, trusting Him, and choosing to follow Him. Every day, Jesus invites us to come and see His provision, His comfort, His healing, His freedom, and His transforming grace. The invitation still stands—but how will we respond?

Sometimes we're waiting for a miracle...
while God is waiting for our obedience.

At Cana, the servants didn't understand what Jesus was doing. They simply followed His instructions.

Fill the jars.
And then they got to see what Jesus could do.
What is God asking you to do today?
You don't have to understand everything.
Just do whatever He tells you.

Nothing is too small for God.
The wedding at Cana reminds us that Jesus cared about a detail that others might have considered insignificant.

And He cares about yours, too.
Your worry.
Your family.
Your finances.
Your relationships.
Your unanswered questions.
Your tomorrow.
God cares about the details of your life.
Bring them to Him.

God's timing may not match your timetable.
But that doesn't mean He's late.
At Cana, Jesus knew exactly when the time was right. He didn't need to rush the miracle or seek recognition.
Sometimes God is working quietly while we're waiting loudly.
Trust His timing.
Trust His heart.
Trust His plan.
