Greater St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church is one big family governed by the salvation of Christ. All members and staff work together in fellowship.

Currently, the Pastor of the Greater St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church is the Rev. Fred Thomas, III. He was called and accepted the call to be Pastor September 22, 1993. Installation services were held November 5, 1993. The church has grown numerically, spiritually, and financially. Under the current leadership, many improvements have been made: a second Sunday service and Children’s Church were formulated, furniture and equipment purchased, formulation of bus, jail, prayer and praise ministers, to name a few. We are grateful to God for blessing and sustaining this church for 108 years. Peter’s Missionary Church is tangible evidence of Matthew 5:10. “I build this house upon a rock and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
