Our high school students spent the week at Hume New England growing in God’s Word, building lasting friendships, and being challenged to follow Christ more faithfully. Throughout the week, they studied the book of Psalms and learned from David’s life as an example of following the Lord.

Thank you to Pastor Jake and May Minnema for leading our group, along with our incredible leaders, for investing so faithfully in our students. We’re also so thankful to Hume New England for another week centered on the gospel and discipleship. We’re excited to see how God continues His work in the lives of these students in the months ahead.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, we thank God for the freedoms we enjoy, remember those who have faithfully served and sacrificed, and pray that our nation would continue to seek His wisdom and truth.
Most importantly, we rejoice in the lasting freedom found in Jesus Christ.

This Sunday, we had the privilege of honoring Pastor Dave and Rebekah Schuit as they prepare to retire after 19 years of serving on our pastoral staff as Missions Pastor.

Before joining our staff, Pastor Dave and Rebekah faithfully served as missionaries for 24 years, investing their lives in sharing the gospel and equipping believers around the world. Their love for Christ, heart for missions, and faithful service have left a lasting impact on our church family and far beyond.

Thank you, Pastor Dave and Rebekah, for decades of faithful ministry. We praise God for your example, and we are praying for His continued blessing as you begin this new season.
