In Kids Rock, we talked about Cain and Abel. Our focus today was giving our BEST to God. We explained to the children that giving our best includes giving our BEST in our offerings. We took a banana and asked the children what does your family spend money on? Their answers were clothes, cars, homes, and food. We divided up the banana into 4 parts. Then we said, that we also need to give our offering to God. The banana was gone, and eaten by the children, there was nothing left but the peel. We asked is that our BEST? The children answered no. Giving our BEST offerings to God is giving our FIRST to God, not our leftovers. After, we watched the Bible video, the children colored a fall craft and they worked on activity sheets about the lesson.
