JESUS RESURRECTION Sunday school May 31 2026 Truth for my life: I will find hope and eternal life through Jesus’gospel. Truth about covenant: Jesus' resurrection conquered our final enemy death. Lesson text: Matthew 28:1-20 Focus verse: Matthew 28:6-8 MATTHEW 28:1-20 1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. …..Is there a God beside me?....Friends, all the little “g” gods are still in the grave, if they ever were. We have an empty tomb to prove the one God of heaven and earth lives, Jesus said in revelations, Fear not I am the first and the last; I am he that liveth and was dead; and behold I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death. According to as his divine power he has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who has called us to glory and virtue. Jesus rose and those that sat in darkness saw a great light, today if you are born again, you also have seen this great light shine into your life and transform you like only God can. Jesus said you are cleansed through the word I have spoken, impurities start surfacing to the top and you come to realize something needs to be done here, a trip to the altar of repentance changes everything. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, He spoke and holy men of old wrote and repeated it, this is how we have a Holy bible. In our lesson today the greatest event of all time took place, the resurrection of Jesus, it affected every soul before and after. Jesus said he would be three days and nights in the heart of the earth, those who had already gone by way of the grave needed to hear the gospel preached also, all have this opportunity because we have a righteous God. Death was defeated friend, we celebrate it every Easter, eternal life through Jesus Christ who sits at the right hand of the throne. Gospel means “good news”, and that is exactly what Mary ran back and shared that morning. After seeing everything they saw, for the disciples all hope was gone, all they knew was they were probably next. Until Mary came in excitedly saying she had seen the Lord he is alive. When we know the truth and respond, we through baptism in that mighty name of Jesus, die with Christ, as Jesus was dead and placed in the tomb, we go down into the water of baptism and die with Christ, but as Christ rose we also come up out of the water and rise to newness of life in Christ Jesus. A new creature born again of the water and the Spirit, transformed by the power of God. This is the greatest miracle every time it takes place, all of heaven rejoices every time a soul is saved. I tried to clean myself up for years bound by sin and one trip to the altar changed everything. See within myself there was no power to change, but through the indwelling Spirit, the Holy Ghost, Jesus moves inside and fills you and that is where the power comes from, to take a bold stand against sin, that was trying to take me to a devil's hell. Do you want a new life today? Everything you try brings no real joy, well friend good news, today is the day of salvation, for you to turn your life around. Find an altar of repentance, get your life right with God and you will never regret it, we may never be famous but when our heart stops beating we will be right with God and that is all that matters. Can you say “Thank you Jesus”. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

THE CROSS Sunday school May 24 2026 Truth for my life: I will believe Jesus’ death frees me from the weight of sin. Truth about covenant: Jesus' death atoned for our sins so we could enter a greater covenant with God. Lesson text: Matthew 27:27-31, 33-37,45-50 Focus verse: Luke 27:29-31 MATTHEW 27:27-31 27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.
28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him MT 27:33-37 33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him there;
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. MT 27:45-50 45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. A one time love offering, for all who will receive. The hour of darkness had come, they were free to treat Jesus any way they wanted, even unto death. All who mocked and all that smote (struck) Him, this blood of the Lamb was for them also, Jesus suffered it all because salvation would be available from here on after. Every soul on earth will have at least one interaction with God with the option to be saved, otherwise God would not be just. So today I ask you, Where will you spend eternity? You see friend, Jesus was made as His brethren that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in all things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the people, and because He suffered, being tempted, He is able to come to the aid of them that are tempted. There is nothing on this earth you will face, that Jesus has not already won the victory over, He has been through it all. Though He was a Son, yet learned He obedience through the things which He suffered, being made perfect He became the author of eternal salvation. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Once a year the high priest went beyond the veil to offer blood for his sins and the sins of the people. It was not able to cleanse them, it helped for the moment of last year's sins but could not free the conscience from sinning going forward. When Jesus died on the cross the veil was torn in two, from top to bottom. Jesus was the Lamb of God, our High priest, and His blood was applied to all sin, and you walked away free for the rest of your life, not just a year, that is the difference in living during the old testament and the new. For this cause Jesus is the mediator of the new testament, for where a testament is there must also of necessity be the death of the testator (Jesus), a testament is only enforced upon death of the author of it,. So Christ was once offered to bare the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation. This weekend we are grateful for those who have given the sacrifice of their lives for our freedom in the natural. I also like to remember as always the sacrifice my saviour paid to set me free in the spirit, when I was bound by sin and had no hope, tried everything known to man to escape the clutches of sin for six years, then one night a simple trip to an altar of repentance and I found what I had been searching for, freedom as never imagined, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed. This freedom was all made possible by the blood of Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection, for this I will ever be grateful. Good news, God is no respecter of persons, He delivered me from drugs and alcohol in a moment, Jesus can also set you free from whatever has you bound. Friends come to the altar with your whole heart, not half heartedly, bring it all and walk away clean and forgiven, and He is just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. That's my Jesus, that is the cross, a debt was paid that was not owed, and we owed a debt we could not pay, but Jesus, simply paid it in full, can we say, thank you Jesus. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

JESUS IN THE GARDEN Sunday school May 17 2026 Truth for my life: I will surrender my will to God’s will. Truth about covenant: Jesus was fully human and had to surrender to fulfill covenant, Selah. Lesson text: Luke 22:39-46; Romans 5:12-19 Focus verse: Luke 22:41-42 LUKE 22:39-46 39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,
46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. ROMANS 5:12-19 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. ////// Can you say, Amen, thank you Jesus. Friends, the time had come, Jesus said to Pilate, (JN 18:37) To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice. We are all here for one thing to further the Kingdom that Jesus started. We can tell by reading the lesson, this was not an easy decision on the part of Jesus, “being in agony, he prayed more earnestly, sweat became as great drops of blood”, friends it was for all the world, salvation for all hinged on what took place here in the garden. In John 10:17-18, Jesus said, Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. A war was fought that no one else could have won, when in the end what looked like total defeat became the greatest victory ever, on resurrection morning. By one man sin entered through disobedience and by the obedience of one many were made righteous. Tempted as we are, but never sinned, condemning sin in the flesh. “Father, “If there be any other way”, Jesus asked, but there was not, nevertheless not my will but thine be done. Total and complete submission is where the victory lies, we do not clock in and out like work, being a Christian is fulltime. When we are trusting with our whole heart we will be steadfast in the midst of any storm, looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. A great price was paid this day because of sin, by the only one who never sinned. It is not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to everlasting life through Christ. For all have sinned, and there is a penalty for sin, we cannot save ourselves, through Christ salvation has been provided, friend, now is the time for a decision, would you come today and be transformed, into a new creature (person) in Christ, He loves you. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

THE LORD’S SUPPER
Sunday school 10 May 2026
Truth about Covenant: Jesus called His church to remember His
sacrifice until He returns.
Truth for my life: I will remember and serve Jesus and others with
sacrificial love.
Focus verse: Luke 22:19
Lesson text: Luke 22:7-27
Luke 22:7-27
7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover
must be killed.
8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the
passover, that we may eat.
9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the
city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow
him into the house where he entereth in.
11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master
saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the
passover with my disciples?
12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there
make ready.
13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they
made ready the passover.
14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve
apostles with him.
15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this
passover with you before I suffer:
16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be
fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this,
and divide it among yourselves:
18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until
the kingdom of God shall come.
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave
unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do
in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new
testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
21 But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on
the table.
22 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe
unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them
it was that should do this thing.
24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should
be accounted the greatest.
25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise
lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them
are called benefactors.
26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let
him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that
serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he
that serveth. /// It was the passover, the most
important Hebrew feast, commemorating their deliverance from
Egypt. It took place on the fourteenth day of the first month, the
passover was chosen on the tenth day, slaughtered and eaten on
the fourteenth. A great deliverance was coming, not from Egypt
but from sin. Remember, John proclaimed the Lamb of God
which taketh away the sins of the world. In first Corinthians 5:7,
It describes Christ as our passover, who was sacrificed for us. In
one night beloved so much changed in our favor, because of the
sacrifice of Christ our Lord. Phil. 2:6-11, Who, being in the form
of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; But made
himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant,
and was made in the likeness of men; And being found in fashion
as a man, he humbled himself , and became obedient unto death
of the cross. Wherefore God has also highly exalted him, and
given him a name which is above every name. That at the name
of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things
in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue
should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the
Father. With all this in mind, he took on the form of a servant and
washed the disciples' feet, a task a Hebrew slave was not even
required to perform. After the first passover Moses was
commanded to celebrate this every year as a memorial and to
keep it as a feast to the Lord for future generations. Jesus took
the bread and said this is my body which is given for you: this do
in remembrance of me. Jesus is our passover Lamb, JN 6:33
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven and
giveth life unto the world. JN 6:48-51 I am that bread of life.
Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This
is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat
thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from
heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the
bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the
world. JN 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among
us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of
the Father,) full of grace and truth. Luke 11:3 Give us this day
our daily bread. Friend it all comes down to the body of Jesus
being the bread from heaven, and the Word was made flesh and
dwelt among us, see Jesus was the Word made flesh also that
bread, give us this day our daily bread, friend we need some
Word daily, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of
God. This cup is the new testament in my blood which was shed
for you.
Hebrews 9:22-28, And almost all things are by the law purged
with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. It was
therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens
should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves
with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the
holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true;
but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for
us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest
entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For
then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the
world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to
put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed
unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was
once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for
him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Friend when Jesus said “It is finished”, he had done all to make a
way for those who choose salvation through Him. He is the way
the truth and the life, no one cometh unto the Father except
through him. Jesus loves you, would you come as you are, that is
all that is required, He will do the rest, salvation is simple when
we follow Jesus. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His
might. “Happy Mother’s Day to all”

THE TRIUMPHUAL ENTRY Sunday school 3 May 2026 Truth about Covenant: Jesus is the messianic King who sits on the David's throne. Truth for my life: I will serve and pledge my allegiance to Jesus as my King. Focus verse: Luke 19:36-38 Lesson text: Matthew 21; Mark 11; Luke 19; John 12 LUKE 19:29-48 29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a c**t tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
33 And as they were loosing the c**t, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the c**t?
34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the c**t, and they set Jesus thereon.
36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,

42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him. /// Of all the things Jesus could have done top priority, he went to the temple and cleansed it, getting rid of all the thievery going on, turning over the money changers tables, saying unto them, It is written, My house is called a house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7) but you have made it a den of thieves. Friend know ye not your body is a temple of the Holy Ghost, when Jesus began cleansing the temple this day it was a glimpse into what happens with our own lives when we are obedient to the Word of God. Though Jesus was cleansing the temple in the natural, it also shows how He cleanses a repentant person in the Spiritual realm of things. He will not put His Spirit in an old vessel, it must be made new first, new wine is put into new wine skins, not old. A new covenant was being brought in and the shape the temple was in was not good, money changers not being exactly honest when converting money, the sacrifices brought were being rejected by the priests so that they would go purchase one from these that sold in the temple, corruption at its greatest in the house of prayer. When we first approach God our temple is not in good shape either and a make over is needed, a transformation into a new creature in Christ. Friend we are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit which are God’s. In Acts 2:38, Peter began to say, repent and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and they would be filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost which was a promise. Our repenting is the same as Jesus cleansing the temple in our lesson, we are getting rid of every weight and sin that so easily besets us, so that we can run our race with patience. In the old testament, twice concerning the tabernacle with Moses and the temple built by Solomon God’s glory filled the temple both times when all instructions were obeyed. Today, we being the temple, have we obeyed all instructions and been made new? Transformed by the power of the Holy Ghost, a new creature in Christ? Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. It was important back then and it is still important today, God’s Word does not change because of time, nationality does not exclude anyone, language may be different, but the message is the same. Paul went into Arabia to consult with no one, he returned preaching the same message in the name of Jesus as Peter and the disciples, taught by the same Holy Spirit that filled all in the upper room on the day of Pentecost. Jesus loves you friend, will you be made whole this day? Do you want a new life? Jesus came so that we may have life and life more abundant. Jesus was born in a manger, wrapped in swaddling clothes, riding into Jerusalem on a c**t, the very precious stone the builders rejected was the chief cornerstone. Nailed to a cross because of our sins, do not reject such love, the sacrifice was worthy. Each and every individual will have at least one opportunity to say yes or no to Jesus, or He would not be a just God. Today would you come? The principle of the matter, cleansing the temple, friend if you are already serving the Lord stay strong and continue on the path of victory, do not grow weary while doing good for in due season we shall reap if we faint not, hold to the plow not looking back. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
