REVIVAL IN SAMARIA Sunday school June 7 2026 Truth for my life: I will faithfully witness for Jesus, even in persecution. Truth about covenant: God calls His church to be witnesses to everyone. Lesson text: Acts 8:1-17 Focus verse: Acts 8:15-17 ACTS 8:1-17 1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8 And there was great joy in that city.
9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. ////// How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach except they be sent? Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Obedience is key, your obedience is your faith in action. When we are obedient God will certainly will bless, the promises are to the obedient. Following the death of Stephen, it was a time of great persecution against the church, Saul was imprisoning all he could find of this way. The church scattered everywhere preaching the word. So we see what the devil meant for harm, God used to spread the word. Philip heads to Samaria and preaches Christ unto them and with one accord the people listened to Phillip, and seeing the miracles the Lord was doing through him, they believed and great joy came to that city. Jesus with the woman at the well broke down these walls preparing for this day, a mixed people they were but not anymore. We see they were welcomed into the new covenant as well as the pure Jewish people. The land of Samaria was given to Joseph’s sons, so from the start they were mixed, but they all have a soul in need of salvation in Christ. It is what it is but not what it can become, look at our own lives before and after Christ. Everyone longs to have the same great joy in their lives as Samaria in our lesson. Friend it will take our obedience to the utmost, to bring Christ to this lost and dying world. We see fear did not stop them, threats did no good, so when beaten they simply counted it as joy to suffer for the cause of Christ. The Spirit will guide you and give you what to say, being a Christian could be no easier, all we have to do is be ready and willing. What we want to do is please our Lord not man, on judgement day man will do no one any good, it will be you and the judge. Let us pray, Father we come to you in the name of Jesus and pray for help concerning any weakness we have, we ask for strength and help in the areas where we are weak but to also keep our strengths strong, to not fear at all, for you have given us a Spirit of fear but of love and a sound mind, help us to let go of every weight and sin that so easily besets us, may we hunger and thirst after righteousness to the point where nothing in this world fascinates us as being nearer to you, if there is anything we lack we ask for it today Lord and we thank you for it, in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen. Jesus gave us His all, He deserves ours. Well can you say amen and thank you Jesus. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

THE DAY OF PENTECOST Sunday school 14 June 2026 Truth about Covenant: Jesus inaugurated the new covenant when He poured out His Spirit. Truth for my life: I will respond to the gospel by obeying. Focus verse: Acts 2:37-39 Lesson text: Acts 2:1-18, 38-39 ACTS 2:1-18, 38-39 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: ACTS 2:37-39 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. We see in John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Jesus was speaking to Nicodemus concerning being born again, and using the wind as an example, it was only fitting for there to be the sound of a rushing mighty wind filling the house where they were sitting. This all takes place on the day of Pentecost (also known as the Feast of Weeks), celebrating the bringing in of the first fruits of the wheat harvest. There was no better time to start the first fruits of the church than this festival, and the harvest continues even to this day. A glorious moment all the prophets pointed to this day and never lived to see it, they spoke as God commanded, they listened intently to relay messages to Israel, but to have God live inside an individual, filled with His precious Holy Spirit, they never were able to experience such a thing. We have been studying the covenant and today it gets up close and personal, when the Holy Ghost dwells in temples of flesh for the ones who have made themselves ready. In times of the past when all was accomplished by Moses with the Tabernacle and with Solomon also with the Temple, when all was accomplished God filled both with his Glory. Today is no different, know ye not your body is a temple of the Holy Ghost, same as the Tabernacle and Solomon's temple. A sanctification process is needed, new wine is not put into old wine skins, the old must become new again, through the transforming power of being born again and filled with the Spirit. Peter preached verses 17-36, pricked in their hearts (conviction), they could only ask, “Men and brethren what shall we do?” Well most know Peter’s response in verse 38, repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, and then they that gladly received his word, were baptized that same day. The hundred and twenty were obedient and waited for the promise, as they entered the streets they began bringing in a harvest for our Lord that continues through you and I this very day. Be encouraged this day, your labor is not in vain, we shall reap if we faint not. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

JESUS’ GREAT COMMISSION Sunday school June 7 2026 Truth for my life: I will establish the King’s Kingdom on earth. Truth about covenant: Jesus commissioned us to share His covenant with the world. Lesson text: Acts 1:6-8 Focus verse: Acts 1:1-14 ACTS 1:1-14 1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. Obedience is key, they were told,”wait for the promise of the Father” and they did. Luke states that Jesus was seen for 40 days, and knowing pentecost is 50 days after Passover, we can safely say they were in this upper room for around ten days. All continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, until the day of Pentecost had fully come. The start of the church was being prepared, the sanctification process of getting oneself totally out of the way and fully persuaded submitting to God. Jesus said in JN 16:7-13, Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me;
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Keeping in mind this was before the cross, now here we are after and it's all about to come to pass. We see in verse 8 of our lesson, after the Holy Ghost came, they were to go to the whole world and be a witness for the Lord and start building the kingdom. Jesus said, the kingdom of God is within you (Lk 17:20). The church started with 120 in the upper room, within each is the kingdom of God. Many of the parables Jesus told were about the kingdom and how it grows and what may keep it from growing. In Mt 13:31-32 It is compared to a mustard seed, when sown is smaller compared to the rest of the seeds, but it grows into the greatest among herbs, and becomes a tree, and the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. The church from the start was small compared to the seed, and has grown to where it is now, and as the birds, daily the family of God comes to its branches and find rest. This all takes place from sharing the gospel with whosoever will listen. In Mt 13:3-8, Jesus tells of a sower who went forth to sow, as he sowed some falls on stony places, some among the thorns, these two never survived because of the condition of the peoples heart that were receiving it. Some fell into good ground and grew and produced more fruit. This is an example of everyday life, some will believe and the kingdom will grow, and sadly some will not believe. We march on and continue sowing, someone else may stop in and water a seed you planted years ago and God will cause it to start growing within the individual, always remember our labor is not in vain. Peter stood and preached the first sermon and 3000 souls were added, and the kingdom has been growing ever since. There is no greater cause on earth to labor for than God’s kingdom. Brothers and Sisters share the good news of Jesus Christ everywhere you go, the Holy Ghost will give you direction and what to say, we just need to be available. Pray for the churches that all stay strong and stand firm in the Lord. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

JESUS RESURRECTION Sunday school May 31 2026 Truth for my life: I will find hope and eternal life through Jesus’gospel. Truth about covenant: Jesus' resurrection conquered our final enemy death. Lesson text: Matthew 28:1-20 Focus verse: Matthew 28:6-8 MATTHEW 28:1-20 1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. …..Is there a God beside me?....Friends, all the little “g” gods are still in the grave, if they ever were. We have an empty tomb to prove the one God of heaven and earth lives, Jesus said in revelations, Fear not I am the first and the last; I am he that liveth and was dead; and behold I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death. According to as his divine power he has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who has called us to glory and virtue. Jesus rose and those that sat in darkness saw a great light, today if you are born again, you also have seen this great light shine into your life and transform you like only God can. Jesus said you are cleansed through the word I have spoken, impurities start surfacing to the top and you come to realize something needs to be done here, a trip to the altar of repentance changes everything. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, He spoke and holy men of old wrote and repeated it, this is how we have a Holy bible. In our lesson today the greatest event of all time took place, the resurrection of Jesus, it affected every soul before and after. Jesus said he would be three days and nights in the heart of the earth, those who had already gone by way of the grave needed to hear the gospel preached also, all have this opportunity because we have a righteous God. Death was defeated friend, we celebrate it every Easter, eternal life through Jesus Christ who sits at the right hand of the throne. Gospel means “good news”, and that is exactly what Mary ran back and shared that morning. After seeing everything they saw, for the disciples all hope was gone, all they knew was they were probably next. Until Mary came in excitedly saying she had seen the Lord he is alive. When we know the truth and respond, we through baptism in that mighty name of Jesus, die with Christ, as Jesus was dead and placed in the tomb, we go down into the water of baptism and die with Christ, but as Christ rose we also come up out of the water and rise to newness of life in Christ Jesus. A new creature born again of the water and the Spirit, transformed by the power of God. This is the greatest miracle every time it takes place, all of heaven rejoices every time a soul is saved. I tried to clean myself up for years bound by sin and one trip to the altar changed everything. See within myself there was no power to change, but through the indwelling Spirit, the Holy Ghost, Jesus moves inside and fills you and that is where the power comes from, to take a bold stand against sin, that was trying to take me to a devil's hell. Do you want a new life today? Everything you try brings no real joy, well friend good news, today is the day of salvation, for you to turn your life around. Find an altar of repentance, get your life right with God and you will never regret it, we may never be famous but when our heart stops beating we will be right with God and that is all that matters. Can you say “Thank you Jesus”. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

THE CROSS Sunday school May 24 2026 Truth for my life: I will believe Jesus’ death frees me from the weight of sin. Truth about covenant: Jesus' death atoned for our sins so we could enter a greater covenant with God. Lesson text: Matthew 27:27-31, 33-37,45-50 Focus verse: Luke 27:29-31 MATTHEW 27:27-31 27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.
28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him MT 27:33-37 33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him there;
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. MT 27:45-50 45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. A one time love offering, for all who will receive. The hour of darkness had come, they were free to treat Jesus any way they wanted, even unto death. All who mocked and all that smote (struck) Him, this blood of the Lamb was for them also, Jesus suffered it all because salvation would be available from here on after. Every soul on earth will have at least one interaction with God with the option to be saved, otherwise God would not be just. So today I ask you, Where will you spend eternity? You see friend, Jesus was made as His brethren that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in all things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the people, and because He suffered, being tempted, He is able to come to the aid of them that are tempted. There is nothing on this earth you will face, that Jesus has not already won the victory over, He has been through it all. Though He was a Son, yet learned He obedience through the things which He suffered, being made perfect He became the author of eternal salvation. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Once a year the high priest went beyond the veil to offer blood for his sins and the sins of the people. It was not able to cleanse them, it helped for the moment of last year's sins but could not free the conscience from sinning going forward. When Jesus died on the cross the veil was torn in two, from top to bottom. Jesus was the Lamb of God, our High priest, and His blood was applied to all sin, and you walked away free for the rest of your life, not just a year, that is the difference in living during the old testament and the new. For this cause Jesus is the mediator of the new testament, for where a testament is there must also of necessity be the death of the testator (Jesus), a testament is only enforced upon death of the author of it,. So Christ was once offered to bare the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation. This weekend we are grateful for those who have given the sacrifice of their lives for our freedom in the natural. I also like to remember as always the sacrifice my saviour paid to set me free in the spirit, when I was bound by sin and had no hope, tried everything known to man to escape the clutches of sin for six years, then one night a simple trip to an altar of repentance and I found what I had been searching for, freedom as never imagined, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed. This freedom was all made possible by the blood of Jesus, His death, burial and resurrection, for this I will ever be grateful. Good news, God is no respecter of persons, He delivered me from drugs and alcohol in a moment, Jesus can also set you free from whatever has you bound. Friends come to the altar with your whole heart, not half heartedly, bring it all and walk away clean and forgiven, and He is just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. That's my Jesus, that is the cross, a debt was paid that was not owed, and we owed a debt we could not pay, but Jesus, simply paid it in full, can we say, thank you Jesus. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
