Vacation Bible School

We're at the end of the school year and the summer season is fast approaching. We hope your first plan for summer will be Vacation Bible School! This year’s theme is Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God. There will be memorable Bible-learning activities, catchy songs, team-building games, fun crafts, and yummy treats while enjoying Sticky Scriptures daily. The materials and activities are research-based and kid-tested!

Registration forms are available in the church office or if you attend First Methodist Church, you will also find the registration forms in the sanctuary. Deadline for early registration is June 10.

June 15 - 19, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.
Ages 3 – 5th grade (3-year-olds must be trained)

Join us on Friday, May 29, at 6 p.m. for dinner, followed by a screening of Sight & Sound's SAMSON.

He defeated an entire army and slayed a lion with his bare hands. But there’s a secret behind Samson’s superpower. The end of school is fast approaching, bringing lots of summer fun! We hope your first summer plan will be Vacation Bible School! This year’s theme is Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God. There will be memorable Bible-learning activities, catchy songs, team-building games, fun crafts, and yummy treats as the kids enjoy Sticky Scriptures daily. The materials and activities are research-based and kid-tested!

June 15 - 19, 2026 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.
Ages 3 – 5th grade (3-year-olds must be trained)

There will be mission opportunities for learning about the joy of giving. Our local missions will be collecting canned food and staple items for the food bank at Ministerial Outreach/Blessing Box, and dog and cat food for the Havelock Animal Shelter. Money will be collected for our global mission. It will provide rice, beans, and oil for families in Haiti through Provision of Grace Outreach.

Registration forms will soon be available in the church office or on the back pew of the sanctuary. Deadline for early registration is June 10.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the importance of gratitude, prayer, and unity.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we also take time to reflect, give thanks, and pray for those who serve and for the families who carry the weight of sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙
