Precious Saints, I hope you and your family are enjoying your Labor Day weekend. Hebrews. 4:9 NKJ says, speaking of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word, “There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.” We can rest, meaning trust and rely, on Him because we know He is faithful to fulfill His Word (Mark 16:20, 1 Cor 1:9, 1 Thes 5:24)!

Precious Saints, sometimes God’s people forget that Jesus is the builder of His Church and He places us in the Body as He desires (Matt 16:18, 1 Cor 12:18). Some try to pick and choose a Church based on their own preferences. But the Lord places us in the local church He has equipped us to fit the best. The local church is God‘s training center where He trains us to function in the giftings He has placed in us, and to serve one another in love.

Every learning process in any area of life will always lead us out of our comfort zone. As we yield to His training process we also walk into the increase and advancement in every area of life He has promised in His Word (Gal 6;8-9).

It’s all about being trained for ruling and reigning in the Kingdom of God, not just for the here and now, but for the millennium and throughout eternity. Training involves effort and perseverance, but don’t forget the rewards and harvest that comes from pursuing the One who loves you dearly (Hebrews 11:6, 12:5-6).

“Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the Head of His Body the Church. He makes the whole Body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole Body is healthy and growing and full of love” (Eph 4:14-16NLT).

Precious Saints, understanding is truly a blessing (Proverbs 4:7). Before we can be skilled in any undertaking, we must understand as much about it as possible.

Proverbs 3:13-15 NLT says, “Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver and her wages are better than gold. Wisdom is more precious than rubies, nothing you desire can compare with her..”

Join us tonight at 7 as we increase in wisdom and understanding of God’s original intent that He imparted to our founding fathers in our constitution. This is not a dry civics course. You will be enlightened, but also entertained and inspired. 1 Corinthians 2:12 NLT says, “And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.”

Without knowledge defeat is sure (Hosea 4:6).

Donna Womack is our moderator and the class usually last 45 minutes to an hour. Afterwards we enjoy fellowship and refreshments that the people bring.

Precious Saints, in the earliest days of the Church, we see in the Word a picture of God‘s plan for our coming together so He can manifest His presence among His people (Acts 2:42-43). The greater purpose in God sending Jesus His Son, was to make the way for God Himself to tabernacle, dwell, make His home with and in His people.

Psalms 34:8 says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” When we come together in the corporate anointing, we taste the goodness of His Word, the good presence of His Holy Spirit and answered prayer.

The corporate anointing is not about the number of people in the room. It is about the unity of the people in the room.

According to Hebrews 10:22-25 we are to come together in the same place, having the same mind and the same purpose. Then by His Spirit we are joined together in love, united in spirit and intensely pursuing the same thing, His presence.

As we do, we are connected with the anointing of His Holy Spirit that is in each of us (Col 1:27). That anointing in each of us moves through us in love, care, and service to one another, and in a strong desire for the manifestation of His presence which results in the manifestation of His gifts.

The Lord seeks out places where He is welcomed in all of His goodness so He can manifest His presence and touch His people (2 Chronicles 16:9)!
