Today is Administrative Professionals Day, and we are thankful for Nancy Trussell West and Traci Ladner here at Main Street Baptist Church!

These ladies serve faithfully, often behind the scenes, helping carry the day-to-day weight of ministry with excellence, patience, and joy. Much of what they do may go unseen, but it is never unnoticed by the Lord!

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men…You are serving the Lord Christ.” ~ Colossians 3:23–24

This Saturday, April 4th, is our annual Easter Egg Hunt. All kids up to 5th grade are invited. This will be an outside event, weather permitting. Come to the children's wing (east awning), the children will have a a few Easter themed games to participate in, and of course the egg hunt. We will start promptly at 10am, hope to see you there!

Reminder, this week we have a small schedule shift as we prepare our hearts for Easter.

We will NOT have our normal Wednesday night service. Instead, we invite you to join us for a special Maundy Thursday Service at 6:00 PM.

Come as we reflect on Christ’s love, and prepare for the cross together.

Join us for our annual Annie Armstrong Luncheon this Sunday afternoon following the morning service!

This lunch is free for all Main Street Baptist Church members and guests. We hope you’ll make plans to join us for a wonderful time of food and fellowship!

Donations will be accepted for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.

Main Street Baptist will host the final event in the Lucas Lenten Series on Wednesday, March 25: the Ecumenical Choir Concert. This concert will feature choirs from the five host churches, Southern Chorale, and William Carey Choral.

Lunch will be served at 11:00am. Please call 601.296.8000 as soon as possible to reserve a spot for lunch or stop by the church office to purchase your ticket. Our menu is beef tips, mashed potatoes, green beans, cornbread, and strawberry cake for $12. Attending the concert is free; no RSVP is required.
