Sometimes life can feel a little scary—just like the disciples felt when the big storm came! But they learned something important.

❤️ Jesus is with us in EVERY storm!

This Sunday, we’ll learn from Matthew 8:23–27 about the day Jesus calmed the storm and showed His disciples that they could trust Him—even when they were afraid.

Jesus called His disciples to be with Him, learn from Him, and then go out and share what they had learned. The same is true for us! When we stay close to Jesus, we learn to live, love, and serve more like Him. 🙏

We can stay close to Jesus by praying, reading God’s Word, worshiping, and following His example.

This week, we’re learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus! ❤️

Main Point: Disciples learn by staying close to Jesus.

Jesus calls us to follow Him! Even though the disciples were ordinary fishermen, Jesus had an extraordinary plan for their lives. And guess what? He can use ordinary kids like us to do amazing things for Him! ❤️

“Immediately they left their nets and followed him.”

Tomorrow we’ll learn what it means to listen to Jesus, trust Him, and follow Him—even when we don’t know exactly where He’s leading us.

How to Be a Good Friend 🤝💙

Friendships are a big part of growing up, and over the next 12 Wednesday nights our 8-10 year olds will discover what the Bible teaches about being the kind of friend God wants us to be.

Through fun lessons, games, Bible stories, and hands-on activities, kids will learn how to:
✨ Show kindness
✨ Be encouraging
✨ Tell the truth in love
✨ Forgive others
✨ Be loyal and caring
✨ Reflect Jesus in their friendships

We can’t wait to help our kids grow in their faith while learning how to build strong, Christ-centered friendships. We hope to see your child!
