Happy Feast Day! Just a reminder that this Thursday, May 14, is the Solemnity of the Ascension of our Lord. This feast completes the Paschal Mystery and "marks the definitive entrance of Jesus' humanity into God's heavenly domain, whence he will come again (cf. Acts 1:11) ..." However, the Church, in her prayer, also says that Jesus didn’t do ascend “to distance himself from our lowly state but that we, his members, might be confident of following where he, our Head and Founder, has gone before.”

We will have a Mass for the vigil on Wednesday evening (May 13) at 6:00 in the evening, and Masses on the holy day itself will be at 6:45 and 8:10 in the morning and 5:30 p.m. in the evening.

Readers, acolytes, and servers -- feel free to stop by the sacristy to see if we need volunteers, especially for the 5:30 p.m. Mass on Thursday.
