Day 5: Saints Right Now
Devotional:
You don't have to wait until heaven to be a saint - you already are one! This isn't about performing miracles or living a perfect life. You're a saint because of what Jesus did for you, not because of what you do for Him. This truth should revolutionize how you see yourself. When you mess up, you're still a saint who made a mistake. When you're struggling, you're still a saint going through a hard time. When others criticize you, you're still a saint loved by the King of kings. This identity gives you incredible security and confidence. You're not trying to earn God's approval; you already have it. You're not working to become worthy; Christ has made you worthy. This doesn't make you prideful; it makes you grateful. It doesn't make you lazy; it makes you motivated to live up to who you already are. Understanding your sainthood changes everything - how you pray, how you serve, and how you face each day.
Bible Verse:
"Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
- Philippians 1:6
Reflection Question:
How would your daily decisions change if you truly believed you are already a saint in God's eyes?
Quote:
"We are saints because of what Jesus did for us, not because of what we do in our daily lives. You're a saint of God. You're a child of the King."
Prayer:
Thank You, God, for making me a saint through Jesus. Help me to live today with the confidence and joy that comes from knowing who I am in You.
