This week isn't a question for us, but a statement. It combines the type of church we are to be, the way we handle adversity, and how we live as Christians. In Philippians chapter 1, Paul was speaking of Christ first. In chapter 2, Paul is speaking of others first. We are to serve others & we need Jesus in our hearts to serve them well. We are to live in the same accord, the same love, to be unified. Unity is the oneness of purpose. Uniformity is the same agenda. Christians must be united in Christ. We can agree on the one common goal: THE GOSPEL. We have one job: the Gospel and to make disciples. Never lose sight of your one job. Do nothing in selfishness. Do it in humility. Make sure we stay clear of ones who start controversy. Do not be proud or arrogant about ourselves. When you know you have humility, you've lost it. Look out for one another in the body of Christ. Seek to be in line with others so they maybe saved. What kind of world would we live in if we looked after our neighbors? We should be in one mind of Christ. Jesus always had us on His mind. Jesus came to die for you and me, so we can be restored. Christians should be Christ minded. Serve others. It's not about me, not about you, but all about Christ. Christ was willing to sacrifice for us, and we must be willing to sacrifice for the Gospel. Have our mind on Christ and block the rest out. Spend time with the Father, in His Word and in prayer. What are you going to do tomorrow that will keep your mind on Christ? Thank you Lin for playing and singing with for us today! God Bless!

We are in Philippians 1:27-30, Dr. Bobby calls it, "My Kinda Christian". What kind of Christian do you want to be? There are so many, backrow Baptist, Lukewarm, Sunday morning Christians, Christian Hypocrites, the real-deal, the C.E.O.: Christmas & Easter only or the radical. Christians are Christians everyday, not just here or there. 75% of Americans identify as Christians. We are in this together, we need to keep the peace. Stand firm in our struggles. Characteristics we should have as Christians are humility, gentleness, patience, love one another, eager to keep unity & the bond of peace. Our lives should be worthy of the Gospel. Not perfection, because no one is perfect. Whatever happens to you, conduct yourself as a citizen of heaven. The Gospel is the lifeline to the lost. We have 2 calls in life: 1. To come to Christ. 2. Go tell the Gospel to the world. We are to be fearless. Fearlessly sharing the Gospel. The saying is God doesn't give more than we can handle. He does. Id God didn't give us more than we can handle, we wouldn't need the Gospel. What was the purpose of the cross? If we could do it own our own, we wouldn't need Jesus to get through trails and struggles. We don't choose to suffer, and neither did Paul, 40 lashes, 3 times beaten with rods, stoned, 3 times he was ship wrecked, left adrift at sea and was in prison. Be confident in the promises God has made to us. He is always with us. He equips us & goes with us. We will lack nothing. The trails challenges us, they mold us & strengthen us. We have to go through them to be called for what God needs us on behalf of Christ. Romans 3:23; The problem the world has now is sin - it separates us from God. Romans 3:10; no one is righteous, no not one. Romans 5; But God shows us His love even though we are still sinners. We are saved by grace. Live a life worthy of the Gospel and be prepared to stand despite of trails. Confess with your mouth & believe in your heart the Christ was born a virgin birth, died on the cross and rose the third day. Share the Gospel! 1. CONSISTENCY in a Christian's life is essential. 2. COOPERATION in a Christian's life is essential. 3. CONFIDENCE in a Christian's life is essential. What kind of Christian do you want to be in 2026?

" A Win-Win Situation". In today's sermon, Dr. Bobby asked if we understand our mission. He read from God's Word in Philippians 1:19-26 and gave us 5 points of what is asked of us. Point 1: Christians must PRAY for one another. Not just say I'm praying for you, really pray. Point 2: Christians can DEPEND on the Holy Spirit. If we are a believer in Christ, the Holy Spirit is always with us. Point 3: A Christian's LIFE must GLORIFY Christ. Point 4: Christians should WORK for the GOSPEL. Do you know who you work for? It all comes down to one answer and that's God. But as Dr. Bobby explained there are different ways others look at it, For to me to live is _______, and to die is ________. How would you fill in the blanks? Point 5: God's PROMISES are better. The only promises that never let you down and will always be true! Other passages that were read are: Matthew 18:19-20, Ephesians 6:18-20, Acts 4:8,31, Acts 7:55, Acts13:9, 52, 2 Corinthians 5:1-8, Galatians 4:4-7, 1 Samuel 12:23 & 1 John 4:13. Are you ashamed of the Gospel? Are you sharing the Gospel? Come and join us! We meet for Sunday School at 9:45, Worship Service at 11:00, Wednesday Night Meal at 6:15 & Bible Study at 7:00. We look forward to seeing you! God Bless!

"The Show Must Go On". How do you handle adversity? No matter what life throws at us, we need to keep pushing forward. As Dr. Stuckey teaches through God's Word, he shows us 4 points we need to know. 1. Adversity promotes the PROGRESS of the Gospel. 2. Adversity provides OPPORTUNTIES for witness. 3. Adversity produces COURAGE in our fellow believers. 4. Adversity proves the CHARACTER of our friendships. Others passages to read Acts 15:19-20, 2 Corinthians 11:24-29, 2 Timothy 2:8-10, 2 Corinthians 12:10, Philippians 4:22, Acts 8:1,4, & James 1:2-4. If you do not have a church home we would love to have you come worship with us. Sunday Bible Study starts at 9:45, Worship starts at 11:00, Wednesday night supper starts at 6:15 and Bible study starts at 7:00. Hope to see you soon! God Bless!

This should be the last video for "My Kinda Church". There are 2 more that starts, middle and this is the end part. Sorry our video device kept going out on us, but that didn't stop us from praising the Lord. We had Lin Kirkman play the piano and sing with us. This is the start of the Philippians series. We start in chapter 1:1-11. What kind of church do we want Cornerstone to be? Dr. Bobby made 6 points about the sermon today: 1. Be a church that GIVES generously. 2. Be a church that is in PRAYER. 3. Be a church that is in FELLOWSHIP for the Gospel! 4. You can be confident in the GOOD WORK God has begun in YOU! 5. Be a church that LOVES one another! 6. Be a church that GROWS spiritually. Additional Passages to read are, 2 Corinthians 8:1-5, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24, 2 Corinthians 9:8, 2 Corinthians 13 &14, Acts 16:6, & Colossians 1:7. What would Paul write to Cornerstone? If you don't already have a church home, please come and worship with us! Adult and Kids Bible study starts at 9:45, Worship starts at 11:00, Wednesday night supper starts at 6:15 and Bible study starts at 7:00. God bless!
