What if the Church is always in need of reform?

On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther challenged the practices of the church of his day, helping spark the Protestant Reformation.

More than 500 years later, the question remains: Are we willing to let God's Word challenge us, correct us and reform us?

One of the great rallying cries of the Reformation is that the Church must be “reformed and always reforming according to the Word of God and the call of the Spirit.”

Reformation isn't just about looking back at what happened in 1517. It's about continually asking how the Church—including our own congregation—can more faithfully reflect Jesus Christ.

🛐 Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Reformation Sunday and explore what this calling means for the Church today.

Worship is at the heart of all we do.

Yes, we're about discipleship, teaching, service and mission, too. But worship of the one true God is at the foundation of it all.

First Pres' Kerus Quilters creates blankets that we can give to people in need as a way to wrap them in Jesus' love.

The quilters meet every second and fourth Friday from 9 to noon at the church.

If you can tie a knot, use scissors, sew a straight line, love to iron or pin fabric together you can help them continue to bless others. Don’t know how to do some of these things? Kerus quilters will teach you. Not sure you can help? Just come and enjoy the time together.

🗓️ Upcoming Dates: Fridays, Oct.23, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11
ℹ️ Want to know more? Comment "quilt" us and we'll get you in touch with the organizers.
