For more than 25 years, churches across Shenandoah Presbytery have traveled to Baja California, Mexico to serve, build homes, and form lasting relationships with families and communities. Serve with us this summer in Baja July 12–18, 2026. Find more details at shenpres.org/baja, including sign-up forms due by April 1 and what to pack for your weeklong mission experience in Mexico.

We are at it again! Our 2026 Baja Mission Team is selling Tidal Wave Car Wash tickets. Each ticket costs $10 and is good for a $30 car wash at any Tidal Wave location across the country. Yep, it works in Waynesboro, Staunton, and even if you go visit Aunt Suzie in Kentucky. You can pay with cash or Venmo (). Current tickets are good through November 26, 2026. All proceeds help support Baja Mission supplies. Thanks!

Baja Mission Gathering

This Sunday, November 16, at 5:30 p.m.

Join us for an in-person meeting to learn more about the Baja Mission and reconnect with past participants.

Where: Westminster Presbyterian Church Chapel (enter through the red doors)
Address: 1904 Mt. Vernon Street, Waynesboro

When: Sunday, November 16
Time: 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

What: A relaxed, low-key gathering meant to get to know others, learn about the 2026 Baja Mission Trip (July 12–18, 2026), and review past fundraisers while planning for upcoming ones.

Food: Bring your favorite dish to share. Drinks and paper products will be provided.

Bonus: Come early and enjoy a handbell concert in the sanctuary led by the Mosaic Handbell Ensemble from Harrisonburg. They are celebrating their 15th season with concerts in our area that include:
-Thoughtful pieces like “Elegy” and “Ballade”
-Hopeful pieces like “Climb Every Mountain” and “Precious Child”
-And totally happy pieces like “Here Comes the Sun” and “Happy Together”

Day 3 in Baja
A day well spent with family photos, finished roofs, built beds, and countertops started. We also shopped for furniture and took pictures with the shop owners. Day 4 here we come.

An amazing day in Baja! After morning devotions, we went to the job sites and built until 5:00. Then participated in an outreach until 7:00. Grateful for God’s goodness that filled our day from beginning to end!

Day 1 in Baja! Team A and Team B are building houses in walking distance of each other. Great day of work, prayer, and rejoicing while serving the Lord. We ended the night singing and playing Mexican Bingo at the Senior Center!!!
