This week, our 16-member mission team grew with love as we served alongside the family and our Baja friends. We also enjoyed meeting the family’s extended family, who joined us for the house dedication. Many thanks to everyone who made this week possible. The family said, “Thank you. May God bless you.”

Day 3 - Baja Build team will trim windows, build beds, buy furniture, and hang a door. In the midst, we enjoy the children painting beside us and flying a handmade kite from the plastic roof sheeting. Prayers continue.

Baja Day 2
On Tuesday, after devotions with the Virginia and California teams, we arrived at our build site on the hill with four walls built ready for another day of good and gracious work with the family. Prayers continue for the building of the roof and painting of the trim.

Baja Build Day 1
On Sunday, we arrived at the YWAM base in Mexico. Today, we begin building a house for an eight-member family. Thank you for your prayers and support for the week ahead.

For more than 25 years, churches across Shenandoah Presbytery have traveled to Baja California, Mexico to serve, build homes, and form lasting relationships with families and communities. Serve with us this summer in Baja July 12–18, 2026. Find more details at shenpres.org/baja, including sign-up forms due by April 1 and what to pack for your weeklong mission experience in Mexico.

We are at it again! Our 2026 Baja Mission Team is selling Tidal Wave Car Wash tickets. Each ticket costs $10 and is good for a $30 car wash at any Tidal Wave location across the country. Yep, it works in Waynesboro, Staunton, and even if you go visit Aunt Suzie in Kentucky. You can pay with cash or Venmo (). Current tickets are good through November 26, 2026. All proceeds help support Baja Mission supplies. Thanks!
