💛 Heart of New Day: Member Spotlight – Darwin Allen 💛

Meet Darwin Allen, who has been part of the New Day family for close to 16 years, going all the way back to our park worship days! And if you know Darwin, you know that some of his favorite New Day moments happen before and after the service—socializing, connecting, and catching up with people.

Darwin says if you’re brand new to New Day, you absolutely have to check out the food, the kids, and all the dogs people bring to church. Honestly, that’s a pretty solid introduction to New Day. 🍪👧🐶

For Darwin, community means engaging with people and participating with others toward a common goal.

You might find Darwin enjoying coffee at Scooters, grabbing a bite at TC Referee, or working on one of his hobbies—he’s starting ammo reloading and beginning his journey into gun smithing.

And we have to share this fun fact: Darwin says he has a really bad memory (although apparently everyone already knows that 😂), but somehow he never gets lost. Even if he’s never been somewhere before, he can figure out how to get there. In his words, he’s basically better than Google Maps.

A verse that has encouraged Darwin lately is John 15:13:

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man may lay down his life for his friends.”
