Six years ago, I was completely lost in addiction. But Jesus met me exactly where I was. He delivered me, and He continues to walk beside me every single day—reminding me to call on Him, trust Him, and use my story to point others toward Him.
Addiction had taken everything from me—and I mean everything. I lost my job, my home, my car, my children, the respect of others, and somewhere along the way, I felt like I had even lost my soul.
But God wasn’t finished with my story.
He used a chain of events, people, and places to lead me toward healing and restoration. Little by little, He began restoring what I thought was gone forever. He restored my hope, my purpose, and most importantly, my soul.
Today, I get to use the very things I once walked through to help others find hope. If you are struggling, please know that your story does not have to end where you are right now. God can restore what addiction has taken and create something beautiful from what once felt broken.
Please reach out for help. Don’t stay silent and try to fight this battle alone. There is hope. There is another way. And it is never too late. 💜
