Day 1: The Towers We Build Genesis 11:1–9
Main Thought: We are constantly tempted to build our own towers instead of trusting God's promises.
Reflection: The people at Babel wanted to make a name for themselves. They believed their security, identity, and future could be found in what they built. We often do the same thing through success, achievements, possessions, or even our religious efforts. Yet every tower we build eventually reveals its weakness, reminding us that true security is found only in the Lord.
Prayer: Lord, reveal the towers I am tempted to trust. Help me place my confidence not in what I can build, but in Your unfailing promises. Amen.

"But every tower eventually crumbles. Every achievement fades. Every resume gets buried in the ground. Every accomplishment eventually runs into death Because the Tower Of Babel is really the story of humanity trying to save itself. And Paul in Romans four tells us why that never works. He writes, for the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not through the law, not through performance or climbing, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

I Couldn't Reach God... So He Came Down to Me 🙏✝️
"I believe that I cannot by my own reason or strength believe in Jesus Christ my Lord or come to Him..."
Those familiar words from Luther's Small Catechism point us to one of the most comforting truths in Christianity: salvation is not about climbing up to God—it's about God coming down to us.
The Holy Spirit calls, gathers, enlightens, and sanctifies us through the Gospel. Faith isn't something we achieve; it's a gift God creates through His Word.

Christ has done everything necessary for your salvation. The Gospel is not about your ability to reach Him—it's about His grace reaching you.

What gives a person value? Is it success, achievement, popularity, or something deeper?
The Bible teaches that every person bears the image of God. Your worth is not determined by what you accomplish or how others see you. Your value comes from the God who created you and loves you.

📖 "So God created man in his own image." (Genesis 1:27)

No matter your past, your struggles, or your circumstances, you matter because you bear the image of God.
