❤️‍🔥 ᴘᴜʀɪꜰʏ ᴏᴜʀ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛs
Tonight, we come before the Lord with one desire: Lord, purify our hearts! Search us, Lord, and remove everything within us that does not please You. Strip away the anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, and anything that hinders us from walking in holiness.

In Luke 18:9–14, Jesus tells the parable of two men who went to the temple to pray. One stood proudly in his own righteousness, while the other humbled himself before God, crying out for mercy.

“God be merciful to me a sinner.” — Luke 18:13

Jesus teaches us that it was the humble man who went home justified before God. Tonight, may we come with that same humility. We must allow the Lord to reveal what needs to change within ourselves. We don’t want to merely look holy on the outside. We desire hearts that are cleansed, surrendered, and transformed by His presence. A people set apart, holy unto the Lord, belonging to Him and Him alone! Less pride. More humility. Less of us. More of Jesus. He is holy, righteous, mighty, and worthy of ALL glory, honor, and praise! His name is exalted above the heavens, His glory fills the earth, and His power knows no limits! There is no one like our God!

As we continue our series, Life With Our Father, we are reminded that knowing our Heavenly Father begins with recognizing the holiness of His name. May we never become so familiar with His name that we forget the power, majesty, and glory it carries!

What a FUN and blessed Saturday we had with our JFK kids and their families! We danced, sang, and praised the Lord together to La Montaña and Lord, I Lift Your Name on High! The kids also got to enjoy a fun skit with our very own Crazy Carl the puppet! And of course, we couldn’t forget the food, laughter, and sweet fellowship with all the families who joined us! It was such a joy seeing the kids having fun while learning about God’s amazing creation! A BIG thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible and to all the families who came out to spend their Saturday with us! We’re already excited for our next Just for Kids event! If you missed out this past Saturday, we hope you’ll join us next time. We’d love to have you! Hands of God House of Prayer is truly blessed to have our JFK children as part of our church family. We love our JFK kids!
