🧩 Autism Awareness Stickers Now Available!

The Weslaco Police Department is proud to offer Autism Awareness Stickers to help enhance communication and interactions between officers and individuals on the autism spectrum.

Parents and guardians can pick up a sticker and complete an information form, including a recent photo and important details about their child. The sticker is intended to be displayed on a family vehicle, helping officers recognize when a child with autism may be involved in a traffic stop, become lost, or need assistance.

Together, we can promote understanding, safety, and stronger community partnerships. 💙

🚴☀️ The Weslaco Police Department is excited to announce our Summer Police Bike Rodeo!

Join us for a fun-filled morning of bicycle safety, hands-on activities, and community engagement. Children will have the opportunity to learn important bike safety skills, helmet safety, and the rules of the road while interacting with Weslaco police officers.

📍 Event Details
• Date: Saturday, July 25, 2026
• Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Location: Judge Gilbert Garza Park, 320 E. Mile 11 North, Weslaco

💦 To top it all off, we'll end the event with an exciting Kids vs. Cops Water Battle! Don't forget to bring your water blasters and get ready to cool off in a friendly showdown against Weslaco's finest.

Bring your bike, helmet, family, and friends for a morning of fun, learning, and community spirit. We look forward to seeing you there!
