In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Prayer Shawl Ministry made beautiful pink prayer shawls and delivered them to Texas Oncology in Harlingen to serve as a reminder to patients that they do not walk this journey alone.

Each prayer shawl was made with love and prayer, so that these BOLD women may feel the comfort of God.

Heavenly Father, we lift up every person who is battling breast cancer, those awaiting answers, those undergoing treatment, those in recovery, and the families walking beside them. Bring healing to their bodies, peace to their minds, and strength to their spirits. Surround them with Your love and remind them that they are never alone. Bless the doctors, nurses, caregivers, and all who serve them. May every prayer shawl be a tangible reminder of Your comforting presence and the prayers of Your people.

Thank you to all the men and women that served and helped behind the scenes to make this years men’s summit a success. Everyone from food prep, greeters, band, sound, media, clean up, sponsors, guest speakers, MC’s, food servers, planning, etc. We thank you for your hard work and dedication to serve in His kingdom. Your service is a testimony to your own willingness to Stand in the Gap. Thank you and God bless!

Day 2 of our men’s summit Stand in the Gap!!

Saturday morning, we were led into the word of God by Pastor Chris Martinez from Bridge Church in Raymondville, Texas and Pastor Toy Leech from Prayer Room Church in Conroe, Texas. Thank you to these gentlemen that lead as spiritual leaders in their homes and in the house of God. We were blessed to have them speak transformation over the all the men present at the summit. May God bless them, their homes, and their church. We pray to continue to disciple the world together as one church. Although we all come from different campuses, we are all united under one true God.

We pray that every man present at this year’s summit left with the reminder of what it means to be a man of God. We pray that the men of God will continue to gather in worship and to disciple one another to strengthen our relationship with Christ. We look forward to the blessings that God has for us at next years men’s summit. God bless.

When God calls on his people to rebuild the walls of righteousness, he will find the men of Valley Praise. He will find the men in worship, at the alter, and in His home. Last Friday night we opened up our men’s summit Stand in the Gap. And what happens on Friday nights at Valley Praise, doesn’t stay at Valley Praise. We share it with the world!! Lead Pastor of Valley Praise Danny Longoria kicked off day one to remind us to fulfill what God has called us to do. When the walls of truth, integrity and biblical manhood have come under attack, God calls on men to rebuild them. God is calling men to rebuild the walls of righteousness not with leadership alone, but with SPIRITUAL leadership. We are equipped to Stand in the Gap not because we are men that are educated, wealthy, strong, or fearless. We are equipped to Stand in the Gap if we are so fully in love with the Lord that our love is greater than any other thing that is in the world.

As we promised, rain or shine, we stood strong! When we are in love with the Lord, nothing as small as rain can keep us from worship!
