The 2026 General Conference has elected a new Assembly of Bishops who will serve for the next 6 years. Our church will be overseen by Bishop Jonathan Lee, and our current bishop, Leah Hidde Gregory will step out of her role as Bishop and return to ministry in the Mid-Texas Annual Conference where she is also Conference Superintendent. Thank you Bishop Leah Gregory. We bid her farewell, and we welcome our new Episcopal leader!

For the first time, the Church has elected a regular, full-time Assembly of Bishops to serve six-year terms.
