Today we celebrated Communion and received an amazing surprise: Pilar decided to follow Jesus through baptism! ๐ŸŒŠโœ๏ธ

Two years ago, Pilar studied the Bible with Melissa and Danny, and this week she made the decision to be baptized. Her decision was so strong that she came to church this morning with a bag of clothes ready for baptismโ€”without even telling the pastors or church leaders! ๐Ÿ˜Š

But thatโ€™s not a problem at Hanover Church! Our church family is always ready to fill the baptismal tankโ€”and even warm it upโ€”in less than an hour! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ™Œ

What a joy to see someone say YES to Jesus and a church family ready to celebrate that decision.

God is good all the time!

This past Sabbath was truly a ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐‚๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ at Hanover Church!

Three of our kids gave their lives to Jesus through baptism: Jazlynn, Callie, and Isa! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Every time one of our children takes this step, we are reminded that it is the result of a ๐œ๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ง๐ž๐ฑ๐ญ ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง. Thank you to every teacher, leader, parent, and church member who has prayed for them, encouraged them, taught them, and shown them the love of Jesus.

Lance came to Hanover Church for the ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž that Sabbath morning. After the baptisms, he made the decision that he didn't want to wait any longer. He wanted to give his life to Jesus and have a ๐ง๐ž๐ฐ ๐›๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ !

So that morning, Lance was baptized too! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐ŸŒŠ

What a reminder that when God is working, we need to be ready!
